Date of service approximately 11 and 12Apr2023. During the installation of a new roof damage was done to my ceiling. During the installation I called *********************** and complained of the extreme shaking of the house as they sounded as if they were about to fall through the ceiling during installation. She joked this was normal and not to be concerned. Several cracked places in the ceiling drywall resulted in the workers slamming ***** of shingles down on my roof frame as I witnessed them doing this. They even caused a light fixture to fall from the ceiling and break which she did pay for the replacement of the light fixture. I want the company to repair the damaged ceiling in my house. The roof rafters also need to be inspected by an outside home inspector to check for any damage that *** have been caused by the roof installation. I have reached out to ************************* who was the person who sold me the roof at this company several times. The first time I spoke to her about this was around 01May2023., she tried to say this was normal house settling and they were not responsible. I sent her pictures of the damage and I insisted it was not a result of normal house settling. She said that she is very busy and when she has the time and up my way of the country she would come by and take a look at the damage. I have tried calling ****** and left several texts since then and she only returned 1 text around 09May2023 saying she will not forget me. Since that time I have called and left a few voicemail messages and texts without any response. I am asking this to be looked into by BBB.Business response

Mr. **** has been in communication with *************************, Exec of Operations and an inspection with an outside company is being scheduled. On May 15th Mr. **** advised that he just got back in town and asked for her return within the next few weeks. ***************** agreed that she would and would communicate the schedule date and time. On May 24th a text was received by ************** stating please call me. ***************** was in the field on a large job and was not able to return the call that day due to the time of completion being late. **************** advised the customer that she had hired an inspector and they will be contacting the customer to schedule. ************** has been advised to also hire his own inspector as the cracks are on the 1st floor of a 2 story home. ***************** also purchased the light fixture at ************** home from Amazon that fell off on the 1st floor. She also purchased a 2nd one the same day as the customer texted her that he thought it may have been the wrong one. During the interior inspection with ***************** there was interior paint work being completed by another contractor as pointed out by **************. We will resume any repairs we are responsible upon the completion of the home inspections promptly and follow up with the inspectors findings within 24 hours of having it.
***************** has went above and beyond for the customer and will continue to do so until a resolution has been reached.************************;

I had noticed the ceiling cracks the day after the roof was replaced. I had to go out of town immediately afterward and on my return I brought the celling cracks to *************** attention on Sunday 30Apr2023. As of today 06Jun2023, I am still awaiting communication from their home inspector on when the inspector will come look at the damage. The ceiling cracks were not there before the roofing work and were a result of extreme jarring an vibrations from the roofers while performing the roof replacement. This matter remains unresolved.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I had noticed the ceiling cracks the day after the roof was replaced. As of 05Jul2023, I wanted to let you know the company has now fixed the cracked ceiling in my bathroom to my satisfaction. The case is now resolved in my opinion. This is an excellent company for any consumer to use for their roofing needs.Business response

We would like to thank ************** for working with *****************, the home inspector as well as his accommodating with ************ crew to correct the drywall s**** pops in the main level of the home. We are here should you ever need us in the future.
