Havencrest Gundogs Response

Mr. ******** did not contact me until the 17th of September (9 days after he purchased and left with the puppy), at which time he left a voicemail. I called and texted all day on the 17th trying to find out what was going on. He would not answer or text back. I sent him a video of the rest of the litter to prove they were not sick and very, very active, and he then returned my call late on the 17th. At that time, he stated that he wanted a replacement pup. I agreed for him to bring her back, and I would replace her or refund his money. Since then we have had several phone conversations and texts. I have asked repeatedly for his veterinarian's contact info and/or the vet paperwork. To this date, I have not been able to speak to the veterinarian or review any veterinarian records. The only information that Mr. ******** has shared with me is that the veterinarian told him that the pup was negative for parvo, also negative for coccidia, and the vet had prescribed Metronidazole (an antibiotic). Mr. ******** stated the veterinarian had made no diagnosis. The last time I talked to Mr. ********, he asked me to help him figure out what was going on. All I can go on is what little information he has provided. He said the puppy had explosive diarrhea on the 16th, and he took her to the vet on the 17th. He sent me a pic of her laying on a pillow. When I expanded the pic, I could see a swollen lymph node on her face (Weimaraners are one of 9 dog breeds with nodes located on their face). She is definitely trying to build an immune response to a virus or bacteria. He also states that she cannot stand up with out wobbling in her back end. I have searched, and the only thing I can find is that it sounds very much like Coronavirus CCoV ( not COVID-19). The incubation period from exposure to clinical signs is one to four days. The duration of illness is two to ten days in most dogs. Occasionally an infection may cause severe symptoms, particularly in young puppies. Severe cases of coronavirus can be easily confused with parvovirus, as there are many causes of diarrhea in dogs. The most typical sign associated with canine coronavirus is diarrhea, typically sudden in onset, which may be accompanied by lethargy and decreased appetite. Dogs may be carriers of the disease for up to six months (180 days) after infection. The only thing I can find on the unsteady stance is a possible reaction to the Metronidazole. This is total speculation as I can only get limited information from Mr. ********, and I am not a veterinarian or animal health expert. The last conversation I had with him, I once again offered to replace his puppy. He told me at that time that he wanted to keep her for a week and see how she progresses. He has since stopped replying to my texts or returning my phone calls to check on the puppy. As I have stated, he has been repeatedly offered a full refund or replacement of the puppy.
