I've been going to get my hair fixed at Hair By Karly Pelham for several years. I had an appointment set up for Thursday September 23rd, 2021 at 10:15. Yesterday my friend was at Karly's shop and mentioned that I was coming to get my hair fixed Thursday. Karly told my friend that she didn't have me down in her appt book. My friend called to let me know so I could get the situation fixed with Karly. I sent Karly a screenshot of our conversation on messenger about a week or so prior to confirm my appt. In return Karly sent me a picture of her appt book with a message letting me know that she didn't have me down for Thursday. I didn't understand because I made the appt with her during my last visit in June. I would schedule like that because it takes so long to get an appt with her. I watched Karly write the appt down in her appt book. We even discussed different times available that day. I called Karly because she said she had a little break in between clients. I asked her what was going on with my appt and she said it was her mistake, she didn't write it down. I reminded Karly that we just had a conversation over messenger confirming my appt. She then told me that she wasn't going to fix my hair Thursday and I'd have to reschedule for sometime in October. She was very rude with me during the phone call and didn't seem to care. I explained to her that I shouldn't have to wait any longer because I'd already waited over 3 months. She basically just brushed me aside after being a loyal customer to her for years. I started going to Karly not long after she opened her business and have spent an average of $100 per visit. I looked through my messages and seen that the last 3 times I had an appt with Karly she had tried to either cancel my appt all together, put someone else in my spot, change the time,etc. She supposedly loves her customers she says, but those are just words to her I guess. She didn't apologize to me or offer me any discount for the inconvenience. She lied to me and was very rude about the whole situation. I feel like people should know what kind of person she really is and how she's running her business because if she'll do that to a long time loyal customer, she'll do it to anyone.
