HWY 70 Floors SCAMMED me. Do not give them your business unless you want to throw your money away. I have contacted the *********************** as well as the local news to let the public know to take their needs elsewhere. I was told in a ******** ad on July 13 at 9 am by the OWNER, ******, that they were selling plywood I needed. 1/2 inch for $**. I call the store and ask them if I need to pay ahead for the 1/2 inch and since I only needed a small amount they said no. I call again after I rent a ****** from ********* ($***) to begin driving to ************ and let them know I'm on my way to buy 1/2 inch, they say okay the 1/2 inch will be ready. I get to the store, I purchase half inch, my RECEIPT SAYS 1/2 inch. My contractor sees the wood and says it's 3/8inch. I call the store. They tell me "we don't even sell half inch" I tell them to proof I have that they did, and that's what I "bought" They call me back, say ITS MY FAULT, and to bring it back, which would cost be another 3 hour trip and $*** ***** rental. I ask to speak to the manager and am told "He's not going to come to the phone." Have never received a phone call from the owner as I was told I was and now am out $*** (*****/***/*******) and $**** contractor fee for showing up and not able to complete work.
