I couldn't leave a zero review here, otherwise I would. This company was hired by a contractor to construct sidewalks, a patio and fireplace at my residence. Owner was not consistent in showing up to work on my project and it remains incomplete after 4 months. I had the fireplace inspected by a certified shop in Abilene and the validity of the report was called "opportunistic" and without merit by the owner of Big Horse. He refused to accept that a professional who is certified by the state, found his workmanship to be poor, thereby making the fireplace dangerous. The stucco type material on the fireplace was inconsistent in areas leaving some spots bare and uneven. Their employees dumped concrete wash in my yard on my newly sodded grass and against my newly stained fence and it was not cleaned up. Brushing design on the patio was inconsistent and was two different colors. There was never any offer to correct this or make good. The expansion joints in my sidewalks were inconsistent and crooked. When I requested that they be fixed, the contractor, ***** *** ***********n told me that the sections would be tore out and replaced. ******* refused to tear it out and instead tried to repair it otherwise, leaving the sections with 4 joints that were still inconsistent instead of what should normally be 2. I allowed ****** ******* to come on my property to retrieve his equipment that was left here. I told him I wanted to be reimbursed for what it would cost me to fix all that was found to be damaged/dangerous or not finished. He refused and said he stood by his work. The fireplace was promised to be completed in two weeks. Today it is incomplete and not within code. When I told ****** ******* that I would take him to court if he didn't make good, he said that he was not going to do anything for reimbursement. ******* couldn't understand why I became angry and frustrated and told me I was a ***** for complaining.
