      We have been trying to get ABF to work on the foundation of a house we bought two years ago. They came out once and left saying they couldn’t finish. I have called them over 25 times trying to get them back out. He came out and took a survey and we haven’t heard from them since. We have a warranty on the foundation and they appear to be refusing to honor it. I just want them to come out and adjust the foundation like they said they would.

      Lifetime Warranty on Home: Abilene Foundation Repair, 2400 Oak Street, Abilene TX, came to my home for a Lifetime Warranty inspection that I have with them in November 2021 and was to come back for needed repairs. I spoke to them several times again in 2022; March, August and the last time was November, all verbally on the phone. I have been trying to contact them now and finally called the BBB to assist since the company was a member there and was told they have closed down. I received no phone call from them or anything by mail as a customer saying they were closing down. Thousands of dollars have been spent with a lifetime warranty on my home...now what do I do? Does the warranty just become void after all this money spent??

      I signed a contract for repair work to be done on my home on January 20, 2023 which was to be done within 2 or 3 weeks. I also gave a deposit of $1000.00 by check. I was called by a manager the following week who told me my work would begin the next Thursday. Nobody showed or called. I called the following Monday and left a message and then Tuesday and left a message. I finally got a call Wednesday morning with an apology they were behind due to weather and I would receive a call Friday to schedule a date for the next week. That call never came. I drove to the office last Friday 02/24/2027 to find out the business is closed, I need my $1000.00 deposit back.

      $11,400 was paid to Abilene Foundation on 2/20/2014 for leveling our home. We were given copy of their warranty. Early 2022 we noticed cracks in the exterior brick and a few cracks on the walls in the interior. On 6/17/22 **** ********* a field technician for Abilene Foundation came to our home, evaluated the cracks, and told us the piers would be replaced at no charge. We were also told someone would call in 6-8 weeks to schedule the repairs. It has now been seven months and we have had no communication from the company. We have called the company several times, the receptionist takes our number and says someone will call us to schedule. No one has communicated with us. We expect Abilene Foundation to stand behind their warranty. We understand being busy and working short handed, yet we do not understand ignoring customer’s calls and reluctance to schedule repairs. Thank you for attention to our concerns.

      Our General Manager contacted the customer on February 7, 2023. Unusual weather patterns and labor shortages have created delays in scheduling, however Abilene Foundation Repair is making a concentrated effort to serve all of our customers as quickly as possible. The customer has been informed of the situation in detail.

      I had my foundation repaired in Sept of 2020 at a cost of 3150.00 with a lifetime warranty. I called early last week to have someone come out and look at the bad crack in the side of my house. No one called back. I called again this morning and she said it would be April before they could come look at it. It is wide enough for bees etc. to get in and I am concerned. This company is not taking care of their customers.

      We have been playing phone tag but are currently trying to reach the consumer and set up a time for looking at her foundation crack sooner. After coming off the worst drought in Texas history our scheduling has been going as far out as to April.

      I am rejecting this response because:  I need to see if Abilene Foundation actually does respond by coming by.  I was called by Abilene Foundation and he said they will try to work me in, but I want to see if that will actually happen.  I need to hold off on my response until someone will come and look at the problem.  When I had an issue right after they did my foundation,  they were not responsive at all and there was not drought then.  This isn't a new crack.  It's the same one that they filled when they did my foundation.  They just didn't do a good job and it is all falling out.

      Our tech went to look at the issue at hand. It was not a foundation issue but a mortar issue however we are helping the customer get this problem fixed.

      When I bought this house, it came with a warranty for foundation repairs that were done by Abilene Foundation Repair. I originally called them due to cracks appearing in the walls in August 2020. They finally sent someone to review the damage in January 2021. The person determined that their work needed to be adjusted and scheduled a team to come out in July 2021. No one ever showed up or contacted me. I called multiple times and was told I was on the list and they'd get to it when they get to it. I've called frequently to check in and can only get a hold of the secretary who works the desk and cannot get any information on when the repairs will happen. My house has gotten progressively worse and I am now have plumbing issues due to the shifting foundation.

      Scheduling has been a significant issue with Abilene Repair Foundation since we started working with them in June 2018. They gave us days that they would show up to do work in September of 2018. I had to take 3 days off from work to be home for when they said they would be here. The day that work was supposed to begin no one showed up or called. I called their office and was told they had rescheduled us without calling us due to rain that occurred at the time. Since then, we have had this issue with warranty work as well. In February 2021, they said they would be here on September 9th. No one showed up or called. My husband emailed the office and was told that ******* would call us. That was September 14, 2021. Still have not heard from anyone at Abilene Foundation Repair. I need this work done so we can get gutters installed and our bathroom remodeled.

Rest assured we are working hard to take care of the needs for all our customers as quickly as possible. After several days of attempts to contact the customer, our Operations Manager successfully communicated the upcoming process to the customer on September 30, 2021. First of all both me and my husband only show one phone call attempt being made according to our phone records. We were each called yesterday. We don't have any other call attempts showing on our records. Also we are still waiting on a date to be rescheduled.
