****** began Oct2021 to construct a 600square ft house at ***************. In total we paid him 44,000$, 4000$ over the agreed upon 40,000$. There were long periods of time when there was no work being conducted, and any job they started never was completed properly. During these off periods contact with ****** was scarce he often did not answer calls or texts, 2 times said he was in Mexico. while installing metal sliding sections remained unfished for long periods of time. the whole thing was a long painful drawn out process. throughout the construction process the job site was littered with cans bottles and other trash, workers sometimes caused more damage than progress. after months we still had no electricity or climate control, ****** purchase a mini split air unit but never installed it. we often asked ****** for timelines of progress, in Jan he told us the house would be done by March, in March by May, in May by July. It is now Sept2022 and we still have not been able to move into the house. It failed 4 city electrical inspections before it finally passed. Now that the rain has started we discovered the electrical conduit coming out of the roof was never sealed and for a month now there has been water pouring in the bathroom ceiling ruining and molding the bathroom ceiling and running out of the walls into the laundry room causing damage. He owes us 5000$ in compensation to have bathroom repaired. When we asked him to fix these issues he assured us he will fix it but little was ever done.Business response
