Emerald square apartment s it’s 98 degrees in my house when it was winter I ask about my ac system Latisia told me it cold I don’t need one rn but I pay FULL rent it hot now they installed one tht doesn’t work at all it made it hotter I have two air conditioners tht dose absolutely nothing I have three bathrooms all the toilets do not work this house is falling apart everyday when I asked to be moved they said they where moving others in but how can u do tht when I’ve never even received my ac in 6 month ur moving more ppl in these unfinished apartments and making us pay 1300 a month with no ac and now no toilets there water coming from my walls under my toilet my house smells horrible I have a two year old and my 70 year old mom lives here she’s already had hep b b4 sincerely we have lived here this needs to be dealt with ASAP I also have mold hidden everywhere behind my dish washer under paint and the lady in the office basically bullies everyone who speaks up she got my car towed because I told her I was tired I want my stuff fixed TODAY next day I get a tow sticker how can u pay a tow man put can’t fix my stuff

We rented a house from Key City Property Management from March 2021 - October 2022 and had consistently horrible experiences. We had possums in our attic and it took almost 5 months for Key City to contact contractors to catch the possums. They failed to resolve the root cause in patching up the area where the animals were entering for over 3 months and sent out lazy contractors who refused to fix the issue until we complained enough as tenants. The HVAC needed to be replaced in May because the possums destroyed the duct work in the attic and this took over two weeks until they finally sent a contractor. They eventually gave is 2 portable units but we went over 2 weeks without HVAC. We also had plumbing issues and could not use the toilet or washing machine while someone was showering or even after 45 min post shower. The toilet would not flush and the tub fully drained only after 25-30 minutes. Key City routinely sent out plumbers who repetitively used a snake and temporarily cleared the pipes but needed cleaning again in 2 or 3 months. Every plumber that temporarily unclogged the pipes explained that the main drain in the backyard needed to be replaced because it was busted. They explained their findings to Key City yet Key City did not want to spend the money. Instead, we had to put in a work order every 2-3 months. Key City finally sent out a plumber to find the hole in the pipe but nothing after that. Instead, we had a large hole in our backyard with a large pile of dirt nearby. Key City found the issue and then did nothing after that. We moved and the issue was still not resolved. We also had numerous mice entering through our kitchen under the stove. We pulled out the stove to find a baseball sized hole in the wall filled with feces. It took 2 or 3 months to get a contractor to come out and seal the hole behind the stove. Overall Key City was nearly impossible to contact via phone and had strange office hours. I will never advise anyone to rent with Key City.
