I had my mothers truck bought in to be fixed Oct 2020. Earlier today my mom was having issues with the brakes so she took it in to have it looked at by a mechanic closer to where we live. The mechanic at that establishment explained that the rotor on one side had completely been put metal to metal. He stated that when the brakes were done in October 2020, they put the wrong pads on. A usual rotor requires an inside and outside pad. Auto pros Addison installed two inside pads instead of an inside and outside pad. This caused the brakes to go out in a year and half. I called Chris the owner to ask for some sort of compensation because whoever did this, did not do this correctly. He let me know i was out of warranty and should of brought the truck to him to be fixed (mid you the brakes were so bad i don't think it would have driven that far).Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/01) */ Car was well past warranty period and was not brought back to us to look at. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/02/02) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The brakes had gotten to a point that it was unsafe to drive long distances we took it to someone no more then 5 miles away where they were 26 miles away. It wasn't safe to bring it to them.
