On approximately July 8th of 2023 I took my lawnmower to Eds Lawn Equipment ************************************************************ I put down a Deposit for Repairs in an amount of approximately $160.00 and was advised the mower would be ready for pickup on August 22nd, approximately 6 - 7 weeks.When I returned on the 22nd, the doors were locked, and no lights were on, looking through the windows I saw no equipment or advertisements.Ultimately I would like my money back, and I will contact my credit card company and advise them but ultimately I expect nothing to be gained as they have my money. Also, I would like to have my lawn mower back, but at this point in time I have had to go and purchase a new mower for approximately $400. I have spent time, money for gas, trying to figure out what was going on. Obviously they are bankrupt or simply stole a lot a money from a lot of people perhaps in the thousands of tends of thousands of dollars.I am not Expecting anything less than the arrest and imprisonment of the owner(s) for theft of my lawnmower and approximately $160 paid in advance for repair work. I am betting I am NOT the only person then stole from and lied to in order to perpetuate their fraud.I would settle for someone taking the owners out to a vacant field and beating the c*** out of them or worse ??Customer response

I have spoken with a Lawyer and they have indicated there is basically no recourse for me as the company has for reasons unknown to me gone out of business. Thus, there is seemingly nothing the BBB can do to coerces them to return a lawnmower or pay me for the lawnmower. The only way I would get any sort of satisfaction would be to hire some bruisers to find the owners and pay them a very very ugly visit. Please close this case.

No one has stolen your mower. It was transfered to a storage facility nearby when the store had to close on short notice due to a disruption in business from the ongoing road construction project on Midway Rd. I had to move over 150 machines to storage and it takes some time to contact all the owners to arrange the return of the equipment. I have been in contact with a Lawyer and was advised there is little to nothing I can do to (1) Get my property back or (2) Get my payment for services back. Please close the case.
