      I'm am totally stressed out with this company I was rear-ended back two years ago loss time of work for 9 months godsey martin told me in a phone call to settle my case for ****** when my bills Equaled 15k I didn't know they got the billed reduced and told me myself *********************** born 08-20-1977 that I will not receive no funds from this lawsuit do to medical & their cost for service I think this is not honest to help someone who was injured I was taking advantage of because godsey martin adjuster ******************************* do to her putting money in her pocket this company does fradualant reports that I want to expose the owner is crooked my case suppose to ******* a year ago but he keep telling me to treat for medical I'm totally depressed due to being taking advantage of please help me please please

      My complaint is in regards to my dissatisfaction with services provided by Godsey Martin, P.C. on 8/6/23 I was rear ended. I contacted Godsey Martin on 8/6/23 to assist me with the personal injury portion of my accident. On Monday, 8/7/23, I was contacted by ***************************, an employee of Godsey Martin, P.C. I signed a fee contract early on 8/7/23. I was told that my information would be sent to their chosen medical facility to contact me so that my daughter and I could begin treatment. I was not given contact information for the medical facility, but instead was told that the facility would be contacting me to discuss scheduling for myself and my daughter. I did not hear from the medical facility on 8/7/23, so I sent an email to ******* to inquire about when I should expect to be contacted because my daughter and I are both in pain. ******* promptly called me back early Tuesday, 8/8/23 and informed me that she sent the information over to the medical facility and that they would contact me. As of the end of the day Tuesday, 8/8/23 I had not received a call. In addition, on Tuesday, 8/8/23 at 3:30p, I received a voicemail from my case manager, ***************************. I called ****** back on Tuesday, 8/8/23 at 3:45p and left a voicemail. She did not return my call for the remainder of the day. Already, I would say that the follow-through has been lacking with ****** and the medical facility. On Wednesday morning, 8/9/23, I received a call from ******* to advise me that I had not signed the contract for my daughter. I informed ******* that I am not happy with the lack of response that I have received from the medical facility and from my case manager. She passed on the message to ******, the case manager, and within minutes I received a phone call from ******. When I spoke with ************** expressed my dissatisfaction with the process that is just beginning and that I would like to be released from my contract that I signed less than 48 hours ago. I explained that being in pain, not sleeping, and worrying about my daughter and I needing to get to the dr as soon as possible, but yet having to follow-up to see why the medical facility still hasn't contacted me and having to reach out to get answers is causing me additional and unnecessary stress. I shared with ****** that I was in the hospital with my mom for three months prior to my mom's passing this Feb 2023, followed by my grandmother passing away in April 2023, and then 2 days after my grandmas passing we found out that my dad has prostate cancer. I explained to her that not being able to get to a dr or even be contacted by the facility and being in pain had kept me up most of the night prior to speaking to ******. ******'s response was not compassionate and she made the comment that I can choose to pursue the case on my own, but it will be a lot of work and their attorney might still take a fee if I get a settlement. Her comment really blew me away with the fact that only 1 of 2 contracts have been signed less than 48 hours ago, I had not ever spoken to ****** on the phone prior to her calling me only after ******* contacted her. I received a drop letter stating that Godsey Martin will retain a lien on my case and has the right to assert the lien for a fee of 33 1/3% of any settlement that I receive. For the facts that I was not even contacted by a medical facility, I had no prior contact with the case manager, and to my knowledge no additional steps had been taken on my case, I am contesting that the lien remain on my case and that Godsey Martin have a right to any portion of a settlement that I might receive.

      I must start by saying this is the last action I wanted to take because I truly believe in everything the firm does for the community but my case has been open since November of ******************************************************************************************************************************** July 2023 and I havent been told much of nothing just that my case worker was changed a few times and I had to call and email everyday to get that information now Im waiting on a reduction on my medical bills which Ive been waiting on that since March 2023 I know every case is different I just feel like my case is a open and shut one because of the clear video I provided but here we are approaching year two and I hate being this guy but I dont know what else to do hopefully we can get this resolved soon because Id like to refer more friends and family to the firm

      Hired the Godsey/Martin Law Firm in August 2022 to represent me in an automobile accident. To date, no one will return my phone calls whatsoever. I even sent a letter dated April 13,2023. The letter was returned today June 6 as undeliverable Would appreciate any information you may be able to find out on my behalf. Thank you!!

      I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the legal services provided by Godsey Martin in relation to a car accident that I was involved in. Despite having worked with them for the past two years, I have had to repeatedly initiate contact with them, as they have never proactively reached out to me. Even when I do manage to get in touch with them, it takes multiple attempts to receive a response. As a passenger in the vehicle during the accident, I was counting on their support to help me navigate this difficult situation, but I have been sorely disappointed. Furthermore, while the claim for the driver has already been paid out 8 months ago, I have not received any updates on my own case. In my opinion, Godsey Martin is one of the worst law firms to work with in the context of a car accident. Their lack of responsiveness and poor communication skills have made an already stressful situation even more difficult to bear."

      Around April of 2021 my boyfriend 2 children & I were in a bad car accident. Since the accident I have had atleast 5 different case managers & all of them have been inadequate. They never follow up to insure that they even have enough information to complete my case. Today is 11/2 & they just asked me 2weeks ago to sign a medical release form for myself. They said the signature didn't match, any adequate lawyer would have discovered this immediately. In all honesty I wish their was a way to close my case with them & get another lawyer because if they are this disorganized then imagine how they will handle my negotiations. I broke my back & dealing with them I feel as if I'm being victimized all over again;I have zero faith that I will get nearly as much as they will receive & that my lack of knowledge on the law renders me helpless & at their mercy. I will definitely do research before making a decision this serious again.My boyfriend injured his wrist, lip was busted, face swollen & he walked away with a $114.00 check after first being told it would be $5000..mind you that small amount was received after waiting an entire year. What's even more sad is that,that came a few months after they said he would get it. Gotsy ****** gave him the option to pay his own Dr. bills yet they paid them anyway. I would Never recommend them to anyone. Absolutely no one has ever asked me anything about my children, they were hurt & are mentally traumatized but they don't seem to care. I lost my home because I was unable to work & pay rent. My back was broken in several spots so I was in a brace for a while. Honestly I just want this to be done and to be done with them, it's been almost 2years & I keep forgetting I even have a case. What's even more heartbreaking is that I was told not to use this law firm & to use a couple of other ones previously used but I went against family just to feel heartbroken & disappointed. Please help I just want a solution or atleast an option. ****

      This company took on my case related to a car incident. They agreed to represent me. However, I have received no representation. They have lied to me about settlements being with their accounting department. They have failed to keep up their bargain of the contract. It has been nearly a year, and my stress level can't take it anymore. The negotiator, supervisor, and an attorney will not speak with me. They all have ignored me and my attempts to get answers. Meanwhile, my children and I are suffering. I am asking to be released from this business relationship with no penalty and to move my venture elsewhere. This is not healing for my children, and I feel I am being misled and mistreated. This company doesn't deserve a dime off of my children and me after the added stress they have caused. I understand I signed a contract. I am asking that you finish the job and never email or hold a conversation about lying to me again. Or release my family without penalty. You've hurt us enough.

      Got in a wreck may of last year been extremely patient as they work on my case waiting for them to call me. August 12th got a call saying they received a check from one insurance agency should have my money within 2 weeks then got a call asking if I wanted to file against my driver told them they could about 4/5 weeks go by called they said they received a check sept 7th but they weren't my case manager would have them follow up next day.. and nothing so called, emailed and still no response so contacted the office again they said the person handing my case was no longer there so my case hadn't been touched. Now they are trying to say that my medical bills are 70k never got admitted no surgeries or anything and they said they don't know if I will receive anything due to medical but when I signed on with them it was 33% to medical 33% to attorneys and 33% to me said she was going to talk to the attorney and call me back she actually called me back and said the attorney was getting ready for court but would review my case still to hear nothing back so they have 30k from insurance and not trying to give me my portion now when I know the medical debt can be settled for wayyyyy less and they are getting paid on it.. communication started off great with kranisha w***** but since she isn't over it any more it's been a mess and communication has been horrible and now trying to keep my portion.

However, in this case, there are multiple responsible parties and although one of the responsible parties has settled their portion of the case, the second has not. At Godsey Martin we fight for our clients all the way; not halfway. As such a lawsuit may be required to secure justice against all parties responsible for injuries sustained by Ms. ******. We are working diligently to wrap this matter as quickly as possible. But some legal matters cannot be rushed.

      In May of 2021 my four children & fiancé was in a car accident .The driver of the other vehicle ran a red light & hit two cars in the process . We obtained this law firm to represent us in this matter . In the beginning we heard from the law firm every two weeks . Our lawyer assistant was very persistent with us continuing physical therapy after three weeks of treatment .This amount of treatment was sufficient enough per the doctor in our initial visit & our final .This caused the assistant to get angry & give the case no effort . After not hearing from anyone at the law firm for 6 months we finally hear from the assistant .Her excuse was she has covid ,but for 6 months no one would return our messages not even our lawyer . She then sends us over to the negotiation team because the Insurance company offer is below asking & way below the medical cost . Ten months into the case now we are told there are no more offers & the case is too small to persue any further . We agreed on 4 settlements & still negotiating on one. Thirteen months later we get a call that 2 checks have arrived & will be sent shortly .We call back 2 days later & speak to someone else who has nothing to do with our case & he says no checks has arrived & the last case has been settled for way less than what was quoted. We have been waiting for over 5 weeks for a release form for that case .This is probably why we haven't received it . The lawyer ,his assistant & the negotiating team will not return any of our calls or messages left . The amount of the settlements are extremely low & the medical cost for three weeks are way over that amount . The assistant told us after treatment (i would be surprised if you received anything). Carol ***** with the negotiating team also gave the impression due the amounts being so low our case is not important. We have been lied to multiple times about call backs & amounts .We are not sure if this firm has received our checks & if so will be taking the entire chk.

      Accident Occurred 10/24. The case manager they put on my case was lazy and not wanting to contact my adjuster because of the hold time until I started escalating. Which she prior to that had several unreturned phone calls to me so I wasn't expecting to hear from her. I had to text the XXXXX# and report it to the operator and reach out to the attorney on a few occasions due to poor communication and no follow up. I have documentation of everything. I apologized one day, not bc I should have but bc business is difficult under those circumstances. Then she stopped really communicating all together after that. I started reaching out to the attorney Donovan. On 12/14 he lied to me and told me they couldn't find a record of my hospital visit and they were waiting for Medicaid bc they paid it. He said it would take months to resolve the Medicaid lien and I have messages with all this. I get in severe debt bc by now I lost my job, don't have a car and no way to pay my bills. I had to take out a loan. I check back in once I complete treatment and they are still waiting for my Medicaid lien. By March I'm trying to find out the status. I leave messages for Perla and no calls were returned. March 1, I text Donovan again March 5, March 7 Perla calls and asks about the ER Bill that Donovan told me had a Medicaid lien Dec 14. I find out from Dec to March they weren't doing anything on the case. Just buying time with lies. They stall me all March. 3/30 Donovan text saying he is getting close to sending demand letter. I message 4/5, 4/6, 4/14 Donovan messages talking about the Demand wasn't sent bc they are still waiting on the same bills. I call myself. Forward them them the info to collections. 4/15. They lie, 4/27 I'm told the demand was sent. I call 5/6-12. Now I escalate bc all the info I gathered they did nothing with it. Then they have a negotiation lady call me to smooth things over and make me think there is progress. I call the ER again bc they are missing a bill.
