I visited Bar Louie located in the Holiday Inn in Matteson, IL after 10 pm on Thursday, September 8th. On Friday, September 9, I received a notification from my cash app card that the original amount changed from $21.65 (estimated cannot remember exact change amount) to $31.65. This concerned me because I didn't leave a $10 tip for waiter. I spoke to the manager, JR about issue and ask $10 be refunded back to my card since waiter decided to change tip amount which I considered theft. JR mentioned he would refund my money and give me a call back later on Friday, September 9, 2022 once transaction was completed. Fast forward to Wednesday, September 13, 2022, I still have not be refunded my money. I called Bar Louie again and could hear the person who answered the phone tell JR it was the lady you spoke to on Friday. He says tell her I am in a meeting. So the young lady takes my name and number and tells me JR will call me back. I am reporting this business because it was wrong for the waitress to decide to increase her tip and unprofessional of JR to not follow up with me and/or refund my money when he committed to doing that. I would like this matter resolved by him refunding my money back. I actually provided him with my cash app card number, expiration date and CVV code for him not to refund me my money. Hopefully we can get this resolved but will not be going back to this Bar Louie location as this is the 2nd bad experience I had. The employee should also be reprimanded for changing tip amount.Business response

I purchased 1 drink, and was changed $106 the following day. I contacted Anthony, the GM who researched the transaction. Anthony stated that I would receive a refund within 3-5 days. It's been 4 months and I have repeatedly called and spoken to Anthony as well as other managers and there hasn't been anything done. I called several times a week for months only to be pacified with lies. When asked for a higher authority I was provided **********************, who is the Regional managers because there is no phone to contact him. Still no response after multiple emails.Business response

The General Manager and Regional manager in question are no longer employed with Bar Louie. With that being said, I would need certain information from the guest to research the transaction to be able to proceed forward.
