Linear Roofing company replaced my tile roof with shingles and that was completed over a year ago. At the time they replaced my roof, they damaged my gutters and promised to replace them at no additional cost to me. When they sent out a roof roofing gutter person he said he would have to remove 1/3 of the drip line Around the whole roof in order to put up new gutters. In trying to come to some agreement and help Linear out, I suggested that we could repair the gutters and paint them and that would save the company thousands of dollars in labor and materials. I had that discussion with the representative and said we would call it even and I would not owe them more money. They are giving me credit of $2300 for what I actually spent and saying that I still owe them $3500. I do not think this is fair as I was trying to help out their company and come to an amicable conclusion. At this time, they are still saying I giving me credit of $2300 for what I actually spent and saying that I still owe them $3500. I do not think this is fair as I was trying to help out their company and come to a amicable conclusion. At this time, they are still saying I owe them money and I am saying that I saved them thousands of dollars and that they should say this is an even deal. Please advise and where to go from here.

Due to the tornados in the ******/****** area, my roof was replaced. The service was horrible. Before the job, ******** stated he would be present to ensure the roof was repaired to standard. After returning home from work, I noticed that the crew was leaving, and when pulling into my driveway, I could immediately see missing shingles from the roof missing. After stopping the crew, I called ******** because he was not on-site; the crew were temp workers who did not speak English. It took ******** 1:45 minutes to return to the house. Some issues were addressed, but not completely. ******** also stated he had been present for the job, but after reviewing my security cameras, he was never present. I also called the main office in office and left a message. No one ever called me back. 1. Shingles missing - fixed 2. ******** missing and scratched, they spray painted it to try to fix it and it looks horrible. 3. They burned the grass around the house where they set buckets with something in it 4. Shingles are not laying flat and have a ripple affect.

The business contacted me in regard to the roof and corrected the issue. The only thing left is the garage doors being installed which they stated they would try to begin Monday.

I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. The master installer for the garage doors was excellent and provided excellent customer service, and his work was exceptional. Everything is completed to standard minus the painting of the doors which is scheduled.

Linear roofing replaced our roof several years ago. No problems with the work. Several months ago the contacted us and said there may be an issue with the shingles and asked if they could come and take several samples to send in and see if they were defective. They have not come back to fix the damage they caused by removing the shingles. We have 2 areas on our roof that are missing shingles and have some sort of paper nailed in place of the shingles. We left multiple messages (more than 10) with ************************* as well as with the main business number listed on their website. No response. We would just like someone to come out and replace the missing shingles.

Where to begin. Well this complaint is for their ***** division (yeehaw). We were approached after the hail storm. I had promises made, but no delivery. Then the insurance money comes, and I get the final bill from Linear. They were trying to collect ALL the money for the roof, when they didnt do the drip edge, chimney, etc and sent a bill for the total the insurance paid out. I told them to revise it, they did and it was wrong again. Aside from having to do their math for them, including tax, the roof still looks like someone pushed the shingles in the opposite direction. Now *** been told, it takes 90 days for the shingles to settle. Mind you its been 100 days, but also, allll of my neighbors who didnt go with Linear, actually has their shingles set and looks great. Funny how its in the same weather, in the same area when they had them done after mine, and when it was during colder weeks. Now theyre telling me that if its not set by April, I can call them directly. Not to mention I had to have someone else take over, since my actual sales guy turned into *************** and ***********. He was so mad that I was checking his charges, which is absurd. Of course Im not paying them for work they didnt do or the tax that goes with that extra work. Advice if youre coming here to hire them and check reviews, I personally would never recommend these guys to anyone. They were quick to push for supplies delivered because once that happens, you have to pay for those. They were quick to finish (Im still picking up nails), and quick to ask for money that wasnt the correct amount. Not quick about fixing their shingles, still looks crazy up there. Not quick about sending warranty info, I still dont have it. Theres no one that answers the phone in office, and if you leave a voicemail, they forward it to your sales ********** ******* is such a mess in my opinion, I would never do business with them again. Ill probably have to file a claim to fix my roof.

Hello, homeowner intended to engage Linear Roofing for contracted work. We did pull a permit after we received the *** from the homeowner. Homeowner decided not to have Linear do the work, homeowner canceled the permit. Linear has canceled the agreement to perform contracted work. At no point did Linear file a lien on the homeowner's property. In some counties/cities in *******, an active permit can also function like a mechanics lien as part of the County/City required permit process.

Since the homeowner has canceled the permit and we have canceled the job, the homeowner is free to contract whomever they wish.

      Thank you.

Inspector ****** stopped by as he was going around the neighborhood. I rent but told him he could inspect the roof and I'd pass it on to the homeowner. Homeowner wasn't interested. I didn't return texts from ******. Then magically, I start getting calls and texts from every roofing, solar, window, door, HVAC, and electrical company in the state. Not sure if I was sold as a lead, but I didn't give my name and number to ANYBODY else. DO NOT ENTERTAIN THESE CLOWNS EVEN SETTING FOOT ON YOUR PROPERTY.

This company is horrible. I wish I could go back in time to choose another company. ******************************* was my contracting at the Linear roofing in ******* *******. At first I thought he was great. On the first appt he was on time, showed me pics that his company was on the **** show Good bones. So I signed with them thinking they were good. I guess it was his way of persuading me. As soon as I signed I noticed a change, no longer answering my texts, many delays in communication. **** was very misleading. I paid my deductible and shouldnt pay more after installation per ****. He communicated that my insurance would take care of the remaining balance. Now almost 4 most later we are still having issues with insurance payment and this company has been in no communication with me to tell me anything. I called the office once about 2 months to complain about ****, with no answer. I sent numerous texting asking **** to finalize payment with no follow up. Recently they reached out via text that I had a balance. When I called the office I spoke to *****, she told me to send her texts of proof of the lack of communications with ****. I sent them with no follow up. I paid the payments that my insurance sent to me and supposedly payment is still short $3000. They said they are reaching out to my insurance to release extra funds. I requested to speak to a manager and not once did the office staff give me the managers name, number, transfer me nothing. I am frustrated. At this point I just want everything to be finalized with that company so I can be at peace. Because the company has been so misleading and horrible. Its been almost 4 months and I havent heard anything from them. Not ****, nor the manager. I am hoping some one can help me.

I may have contacted the BBB a few months ago complaining about the roofing company that is committing fraud with our insurance company. Im still upset about how this roofing company took advantage of us they are storm chasers that knock on doors without a permit to take advantage of elderly people. This roofing company came to our door and talked my husband into signing a contract without explaining how the contract works. They told my husband that they would do our roof for $21.000 but would take over with our insurance company for more money. Our insurance company gave us $19.000 to do our roof. This roofing company then sent us a bill for $47.000. In the mean time there were a lot of threats to my husband and I from this roofing company. We feel as though this roofing company has committed fraud.

Four Linear Roofing door-to-door solicitors (*******************-"regional vice-*********** ************************** manager", and two others) came into our neighborhood in two pickup trucks and commenced to go door-to-door. Upon challenging them to show their city-required solicitors' permit, they claimed it was at their office. None had the city-required individual solicitors' badges. Upon calling their "National HQ" at ************, I was told that they had many cities' solicitor permits. Upon calling the ******************** Police ******************* I found out that Linear Roofing does not have any required solicitors' permit. The falsehoods told me by the representatives and the main office, as well as the on-going violation of city ordinances in cities where they solicit reflect badly on the BBB which is proudly displayed on the two different business cards given me by their representatives. I have reported this the the ******************** ***************** and they will be issued fines if caught again without the required permits and badges.

Hello ~02/ 02/ 2023 (Invoice Number ********) ~ Post Hurricane ***. Linear Roofing completed Roofing-Shingle Section plus Low Slope - Labor (Bid item). The grand total was ******** which were paid Upon Receipt. Invoice balance due is $0.00. Another post-hurricane provider was inspecting the roof and took photos of There are hundreds of cap nails that held down the tarp along each side of the ridge of the roof. The best fix is each shingle gets popped off and tar put underneath after the nail is removed.I emailed and texted *************************, Linear Roofing Company Representative, about the concern. I provided the photos as well. There was no response via email nor text. Please see my complaint regarding Southern Roots Construction who placed the emergency tarp to close in exposed roof. Their statement was Silly question but why didnt the roofers remove them when they completed the Roofing.I need to have the nails that they used to secure the tarp, removed. The out of pocket expense to remove the nails is $600.I am not clear whose responsibility it is to removed the nails, Linear Roofing or Southern Roots Construction. I would just like one of the companies to complete the services that were paid for so I do not need to unnecessarily pay out of pocket expenses for the nails to be removed. Thank you for your time,********************* **********************
