      I brought my car in to TK automative to get a diagnostic on why my check engine light was still on. I had my fuel pump replace by another automotive a few days before for $900 and my car was running great. I was told by TK automative that it wasn't my fuel pump because I just got it replaced. They insisted that it was my fuel pump and told me it would cost me $1600 to replace the same fuel pump. So I paid them because I just wanted to get my check engine light fix so I can get my car inspected. They replaced the fuel pump and my check engine light was still on. Allan, the manager asked me to bring the car back to replace a different fuel pump that needed to be fix in the trunk of the car, the one they replace wasn't the problem. He told me to order the part and he would take care of me. It took them 2 months to fix my car and told me I owed them $750 in addition to the $1600 I paid to replace a part that didn't need to be replace at all.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/21) */ ON XX-XX-XX CUSTOMER BROUGHT HIS VEHICLE AND AS PER CUSTOMER THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN SIITING FOR 2 YEARS, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON, AC DOES NOT WORK AND AS PER CUSTOMER HE GOT THE HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP REPLACED BY SOME MECHANIS 2 MONTHS AGO. UPON INSPECTION FOUND THAT THE HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP WAS STILL OLD, WE RPLACED WITH NEW HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP, SPARK PLUGS, ENGINE OIL CHANGE, OIL FILTER, FUEL INJECTOR SERVICE. CUSTOMER WAS NOTIFIED IN WRITING THAT THE THERE ARE OTHER PROBLEMS IN THE VEHICLE AS THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN SITTING FOR TOO LONG. "COOLING FAN WAS WORKING VERY SLOW AND THAT IT MAY TRIGGER CHECK ENGINE LIGHT" "BRAKE LIGHT ON" CUSTOMER SAID THAT HE WILL BUY HIS OWN PART AS HE DID ON HIS OTHER AUDI Q7 (THAT WE DID NOT WORK ON). WE NEVER SUGGESTED HIM TO BUY HIS OWN PARTS, AS MOST OFTEN THEY ARE WRONG OR DOES NOT WORK AS THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO THUS CREATS MORE HEADACHE FOR US. ON XX-XX-XX CUSTOMER BOUGHT HIS OWN COOLING FAN ASSEMBLY WITH MODULE. UPON INSPECTION FOUND THAT THE FUEL PUMP IN SIDE THE GAS TANK LOCATED INSIDE THE TRUNK WAS SHOWING NO PRESSURE. WHEN WE OPENED THE TRUNK FOR INSPECTION FOUND THAT THE TRUNK WAS FULL OF JUNK. CUSTOMER WAS NOTIFIED, HE CAME AND CLEANED OUT THE TRUNK. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION FOUND THAT WIRING WAS DAMAGED AND THE FUEL PUMP WAS NOT WORKING. CUSTOMER WAS NOTIFIED AND HE SAID THAT HE WILL BUY HIS OWN PUMP. AFTER ABOUT TEN DAYS HE BRING THE FUEL PUMP AND WHEN WE WERE ABOUT TO INSTALL, WE FOUND THAT THE PUMP WAS WRONG, CUSTOMER WAS NOTIFIED AND SHOWN WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IN THE NEW AND THE OLD PUMP. HE SAID THAT HE WILL ORDER ANOTHER PUMP. SECOND PUMP HE BRINGS AFTER COUPLE OF WEEKS AND THAT WAS THE WRONG ONE ALSO. FINALLY HE BRING IN THE THIRD PUMP AFTER COUPLE OF WEEKS AND THAT WE INSTALLED. CUSTOMER WAS NOTIFIED ON XX-XX-XX THAT THE VEHICLE WAS READY, BUT HE DID NOT COME TO PICK IT UP TILL 09-20-21. WE CHARGED HIM THE LABOR ONLY AS PER BOOK LABOR TIME. AND NOTHING EXTRA FOR ALL THE TIME HE KEPT BRINGING WRONG PARTS. PLUS WE GAVE HIM A 10% DISCOUNT OFF THE FINAL BILL.
