  I started with West express in May, first came on and went to train with A close friend of mine named Erik. Alex is one of the founders and is very disrespectful, long story short i quit July 13 2022 & haven't been paid since last week (Part of the reason) i was trying to take a load back to Dallas and quit once i got there but the fuel card hasn't been working for 5 days vans I've been asking(i have proof) i decide to quit because no one has been responding to me when i need them but when they need me they blow me up. I was sitting in my living room and a tow truck came without warning and tried to take the truck with all my belongs on there luckily i caught him before taking off. I recorded a video and sent it to the company i said "you guys got your truck back please send me my money that you owe me and my escrow" no response. The next day i asked about my statement and i was told i wasn't getting paid i owe money, how do i go to work and owe money, when i was in training with my friend Erik we had hit a deer & the bumper got fixed the next day. They sent me a statement saying i owe 2400$ of my check money to them because of the damages and they took another escrow out and a unknown payment of 500$ out for God know the reason. They still haven't paid me for my work i earned and they are ignoring me now. I know two other guys with families that's in the same situation! It brought me a lot of stress missed payments and anxiety. The other fellas want to testify against them in court and I'm willing to do so as well because this is not right at all, he took my hard working money for damages that was covered with insurance and plus he told the owner operator (Erik) he will cover it nothing about me that's what happen when you drive trucks. Please help me resolve this please.

  Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/01) */ To Whom It May Concern This is a response to unjustified complaint by Mr. ***** ************ to BBB, case XXXXXXXX. Written allegations have no ties with chain of events in reality. West Express have made a judgment call with Mr. Mills giving him an opportunity, invested in this venture time and money. Obviously that call was wrong, and Alex that he refers in his writings as "disrespectful" was the one that insisted that West Express provide the opportunity given to Mr. Mills. West Express have paid airline transportation in multiple events, hotel and other expenses for Mr. Mills, provided monetary advances to Contractor multiple times. Statement # 804 sent to Mr. Mills that he is referring to in his baseless allegations for pay period ending 07/08/2022, posting 07/15/2022 with breakdown of earnings and deductions that shows $ 2,474.01 for damages repair ( deer damage from 05/21/2022), damages that West Express have paid in behalf of Mr. Mills on 06/02/2022 to MMXDFW, LLC , invoice 2004 , vendor email [email protected] and $ 533.10 in owed balance from statement # 800 for pay period closing 07/01/2022. I will quote Mr. Mills here - "I owe 2400$" and "500$ out for God know the reason" - the reasons are listed above and documented. Mr. Mills refers to in his writings to following, quote:" When I was training with my friend Erik, we had hit a deer & the bumper got fixed the next day ". They did not hit a deer; he did hit one on 05/21/22. Damaged the bumper assembly and the headlight, as seen in images attached . Mr. Mills Statement on the event emailed after the occurrence to [email protected] : "I was driving around 1 am around 2 am in the right lane, it was really dark no street lights just the lights from my truck ,A dear jumped out of nowhere and it was so quick I couldn't respond fast enough. If I would have tried to avoid the dear, it would have been more damaged or my partner and I & the truck. So soon as the dear jumped out I yelled immediately my partner and I was startled but the only option we had was to keep driving so that's what I continued to do. "$ 2,474.01 paid in his behalf is for this damage. And he did not fix this as written in his text the next day, West Express fixed this on 06/02/22 in his behalf. I need to emphasize that Erick, a person who he refers to "A close friend of mine named Erik" is actually a West Express contractor Erick E. assigned to train Mr. Mills for his upcoming duties in time of his contract inception in May. For a fact - they have never seen each other before training started, maybe that close friendship that he refers to in his writings developed in training, one can only tell at this point. West Express have to report that at time of towing on 07/13/2022 of our leased equipment that Mr. Mills refers to as well recording a certain video, it appears that unit had side fender skirt damage that was not reported to West Express by Mr. Mills. This is assessed by equipment owner, Penske Truck rental upon equipment inspection. This image is attached as well. With all said, the complaint written to BBB by MR Mills is completely unjustified and has no sustainable value by any means. West Express has all document that are supporting all written here along with many others that refer to Mr. Mills. Those documents support any action taken by West Express on this matter, every step of the way from West Express end has been done according to contractual rules. A defamation case and a disparagement claim may arise if Mr. Mills keeps slandering West Express writing these senseless texts in the future. Thank You West Express LLC
