- I was told by salesperson that he was given me a special incentive to cover sale taxes due to overprice of my **** GMC truck by dealership. When asked about the additional charges on my truck he would not explain all of the charges. After signing the contract, he revealed it was for sale taxes and he could not remember telling me about the special incentive.- On my online account, the price of the vehicle keeps going up before I made by first payment. Lease payments supposed to be fixed unless they are late fees. - I was told the vehicle lease was based on 2.9% interest rate and then told around 4.5% after the deal.Being a member for over 35 years and had leased and purchased several vehicles from the ***** I am very disappointed with the lies from a company I have always trusted.Business response

12/29/2023 was the last contact with **************. He initially called in with questions regarding his lease and what he perceived as an increase in cost. ************ told him he would research the issue and call him back. An explanation of how per diem and 60 days until 1st payment was given. *** also explained to him that ****% was over a 36-month term and not the 60-month term he had selected. We also have documentation dating back to October 2023 demonstrating the members history of indecisiveness and lack of understanding despite our best efforts to convey that. The first vehicle he selected was delivered to his home, the next day ************** called and said he did not like the car he leased. We seldom unwind leases, however in this case we made an exception. With both lease opportunities we have tried to accommodate the member and provide him with quality experience.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: ***, the salesman lied to get me to sign the contract. *** told me that because the vehicle was overpriced, he was going to give me an incitive to avoid paying taxes. When I asked about the addition cost, he could not explain the first time I asked him. I called back and he had to ask his clerk about the details, stating he forgot what he said.Business response

We reached out to ************ regarding his grievance. We reviewed the details of the structure of the lease with ************* After thoroughly discussing the situation at hand, we understood how there was miscommunication regarding the structure. With this finding, we agreed to restructure ************** lease with the rate of ****%. We value ************ as a member of the Credit Union of ***** and because of this we wanted to ensure that we made this right for him. The lease has since been restructured and *********** has signed the updated documents. We are happy to have been able to resolve this with ************ and look forward to the opportunity to continue to earn ************** future business.
