We contracted Chroma Services to do makeup and bridal hair for my daughters wedding on July 17, 2021. Chroma Services provided hair and makeup for my wife and daughter and charged our***** credit card two separate charges, $335.58 (5/25/2021) and $303.10 (6/23/2021). We paid both bills in full. We do not owe Chroma Services any money. On May 31, 2022 Chroma Services charged out***** credit card $335.58. This is the same amount as previous charge for $335.58 (5/25/2021). No services were provided by Chroma Services for charge of $335.58 on May 31, 2022. This is an unauthorized charged. We contacted Chroma Services several time since May 31, 2002 to ask for a refund. We have not received the refund on our credit card. We have not received a refund by cash, check, or other means. We would like a refund for $335.58 for the charge on May 31, 2022 as no services were provided.Initial Complaint

I signed up for a free bridal makeup and hair trial with Chroma Service back in March of 2021. In order for me to do the trial I had to at least put down a deport for my hair and makeup for the wedding which came to exactly $194.85 with taxes and is supposed to be fully refundable any time up to 30 days before my wedding according to the policy I was under. I was not satisfied with the work done so I decided not to go with them any longer. Now that it is getting closer to my wedding, which is in June, they are not communicating with me about my refund. They said to me in an email that they changed policies due to Covid and are no longer doing refunds but will give me mine since I was under their old policy. (Which didn't make any sense to me) They keep saying they will send it thought Cash App but then doesn't. I would like it to be refunded another way since it's not secure but anyway is better than nothing. I been speaking with Michael from there who will no longer respond to my messages and it's been almost a month now since I been asking. My receipt says " (*) This Deposit Invoice is based on a down payment to secure Day-of Bridal Services. This item reflects the total number of guests, receiving Services, listed in this item. Any additional guests receiving services that are not listed on this item, may be added upon request, and will receive an additional quote and invoice for Services. Following the trial, if the Brides books the Company (Chroma Services) for the Wedding Date, the Deposit will be accredited to the Total balance. If the Bride does not book the Company for the Wedding Date, the Deposit is fully refundable." I had originally booked Chroma to do hair and makeup for my wedding day. We scheduled a bridal trial on the morning of my bridal portraits. We scheduled, via email, the trial to begin at 11am to be done in time for my 1:30 portraits. This included a one-hour drive time from Chroma's studio to my venue. I arrived with my mother at the studio at 11am. The suite was locked and empty. I called the artist whose business card was displayed outside the suite. I received no answer, just a message that the voice mailbox was full. My mother tried to call the artist and received the same message. I called the number for Michael, with whom I had worked to book the appointment, several times. Finally, he called back and informed me that due to a technology error, the appointment was not in the 2022 calendar. Of course, I informed Michael at Chroma that I would not be booking their company for my wedding day and instructed them to refund my deposit. I have not received my deposit. The company tried to bully me with a "Confidentiality clause" stating I was not allowed to leave a negative review.
