On Nov. 1, 2021, I sent my Google Pixel 4 XL to UpTradeIt.com. They provided me with a FEDEX shipping label and I attached it to the box and shipped it on Nov. 3, 2021. On Nov 8, 2021, it was on the truck for delivery to them. However, UpTradeIt never received the package. I emailed the support team and was told that they would have to file a claim against FEDEX. The claim was submitted and denied by FEDEX. They provided a status update to me and they were going to call and find out why. I waited and waited and waited. I never heard back from the UpTradeIt Support Team since Dec. 6, 2021. I've tried multiple times to email and leave voice messages for someone to get back to me. I understand the package being lost is out of their hands, but I expect to be kept in the loop on things. As of today, Jan.21, 2022, it appears that I may be out the $245 offer and my phone. Purchased cell from this company & paid extra for expedited shipping. The phone arrived late & although it was "unlocked for any carrier", it had been reported lost or stolen previously and could not be used. Then attempted to get in touch with/ company for 3 days to no avail. Called UpTrade 10 times, left five voicemail messages in 72 hours and sent multiple messages via the company's webpage. The number listed on their webpage takes you to a voicemail message that states "We are currently not taking calls at this time, but please do not panic and send a message". I tried repeatedly to get in touch with them. Eventually, someone called me back and apologized, claiming this only happens to about "1% of their customers". The excuse given was they purchased phone, which checked out clear. After shipping it to me, the original seller must have then reported it lost or stolen. Yeah, that makes sense. The true kick in the teeth was I sent the phone back weeks ago but no refund was given!
