Email sent to provider, no response and actual business refuses to refund my money. Hi, I came into the 1st Class Urgent Care location on Bethany in Allen TX last Friday 9/9. My youngest child ******* ***** had a recurring ear infection causing him a high temperature and he needed antibiotics. After my visit I was told the prescription was being sent to Kroger on Bethany Dr but it was not successfully sent. I was not given a paper prescription to provide the pharmacy, and when I called no one was there nor would be until Monday. You don't have a patient assistance line or anything for if an issue like this arises. I was unable to get antibiotics for my child. I had to see a second doctor later that evening and pay a second doctor fee to get him the antibiotics he needed. The prescription they called in was available within minutes. The lady that works the front desk called Kroger and confirmed the prescription did not go through for Jackson and to rectify this issue we very much feel his fee should be waived. I have attached the bill for the second doctor I had to pay to get the antibiotics. I am happy to pay my bill for my daughter but since the service I paid for was not completed and I had to pay someone else to do it- please do not charge me for it. Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/09/28) */ see attached Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/09/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The response doesn't even pertain the issue at hand. I did not ask to have my co-pay waived. I am asking for my service to be refunded completely as the full service was not completed. I was unable to get antibiotics for my sick child and had to go to a second doctor to obtain the prescription. It seems fraudulent to charge someone for a service and not follow through with providing the medication. Front desk confirmed with Kroger the prescription was not received. Terrible service and unethical, and I will escalate this in every means possible if a refund is not provided. I've attached the invoice I paid to have my son seen same day to get the antibiotics he needed.
