This company (****) stopped to talk to me about the rock driveway of my parent's house (Both deceased). He said he was doing a job at Halliburton in ******** and had left over material. He gave me a price I called halliburton to confirm and looked up the company on BBB.and on web-stie # wrong. I could not find them on BBB but found another company ask him about and he lied to me . Here is my problem with this company and ***** According to the contract these are the things they did not do. 1. Remove vegetation and applicable herbicide. The previous rock driveway had grass growing so I know they didn't do this per the contract. 2. Grade and level specified to clean so this means leveling of the surface. As you can see the pic of the whole driveway this was not done. 3. Power blow & sweep to clean-When his workers was spraying the hot mix asphalt I went out to pick up the leaves that they were about to spray over and then the worker started picking up leaves but there was also nuts from the tree. It was 38 degrees that day and I asked his worker why aren't they going to spray another coat. He said that is all you need and they were packing up and leaving (fast)4. Clean up and haul off-They didn't have to ************* off. I asked them to move previous driveway rocks to the side and **** said sure and we will spread them out. As you can see in the pic that was not done. I called **** after Thanksgiving to show him that the asphalt did not seal correctly. It should not leave these kind of tire marks. It said it will turn over and smooth out really the job was done on the 20th. See the pic and it is 7 days later and still soft and leaves tire ruts and now it is breaking up in parts. I called and let know it needed sealed again. He stopped by I beg him cause the asphalt didn't take as you can see by the pics and the contract has 12 months warranty. He tried his best to get out of it. I told him I am not happy with it and started crying. His comment was be glad your still alive. My boyfriend called him and he told him that he would be back. No phone call or a time of rescheduling. Also, yesterday I blew concrete driveway and this asphalt big huge chunks are coming up. I just sit down and cried. Again It needs repaired and I want the previous rocks spread-out which they did not have to haul off nothing. The reason I did this was to improve the house value till I can sell it. His flyer had the BBB on it (not listed). He did another job about mile 1/2 away I went to look at it and talked to them. Theirs is not turning over and breaking up in chunks and still soft and shows ********* ruts after the rain tire ruts are really bad. I hope BBB can help me with this matter. **** needs to uphold his contract.
