DLP Home Inspections, *********************, came to my home on 3/22/2022 to inspect my home for a potential buyer. Upon inspection, he tripped an outlet located on the front of my house which cause the whole gfci circuit to blow. He did not find where the gfci outlet was located to reset this. Him not resetting this circuit, which was where my upright freezer was located and plugged into, caused the freezer to not get power, which in return, caused my freezer full of food to become thawed and ruined. I mentioned this to the inspector and he noted that a power surge must of came through. This is not true because none of the other GFCI outlets in the home were thrown. He then proceeded to inspect my vent hood above the range oven and said that the vent is partially blocked on the left. This is not true because the vent is on the top of the microwave. I would like this inspector to provide compensation for the food lost due to his carelessness to find the gfci outlet he blew or even ask the home owner where it was, who was there at the time of inspection, and reset it.
