Although I have multiple complaints concerning this business, for purposes of this complaint I will focus on what myself and a few mechanics observed within a period beginning 02/24/2023. This will be the result of what is noted on invoice #***** and listed under labor description as "TIMING GEAR HOUSING GASKET" Whereby engine must be pulled from the truck. This was a substantial charge for $3930 and another $655 for replacing the oil pan, which I still do not understand, the motor was removed from the truck and easily accessible! To their credit, it does appear that they repaired the leak, unfortunately, they never completed the job! What I thought I paid for was the motor to be completely removed/re-installed with some semblance of competency concerning what work had been performed and on 02/24/2023 what I found was such an obvious and flagrant breech of all mechanics "code of ethics'' that I thought to myself ''did I run over the mechanics or Jeff's dog or something?!'' or "were our families enemies in years past?!" I could not believe my eyes as I was looking at the motor and it was completely exposed to the elements! No cover whatsoever over the intake or bottom side of turbo on the motor AND metal shavings all over the top of the motor! (see pics) My heart sank as I thought of what may have found it's way inside the motor The motor itself is sitting where it is supposed to be but little else. There will be pictures to follow for each of these: In no particular order- No starter, though they were kind enough to leave it laying in the bed.- Exhaust is not re-connected and no idea what is needed to repair properly.- Bellhousing bolts (what holds the motor to the transmission) NOT TIGHTENED, just ran in a few threads!- fuel control linkage not re-connected.- transfer case linkage not connected... as well as small lines/connectors broken or missing. There were multiple discrepancies such as they "lost" two new batteries, improper invoicing (not itemized) Etc.
