On 4/8/2023 I booked and paid for a hotel room at this hotel through the Hotels.com app. When I checked in, they asked for a credit card in case there were any “incidentals” which is standard, so I provided my credit card. The next morning I turned in my keys and was told that because I paid Hotels.com, there we nothing owed. When I checked my credit card account a few days later, there was a charge of $108.29 directly from Holiday Inn. It took me calling several times before I spoke with an assistant manager (RayAnn ********) on 4/14/23. At that time she told me that she would refund the charge. It didn’t happen. On Monday. 4/17/23, I reached out to IGH customer service via Twitter. They said someone would contact me within 48 hours. They did not. I reached out again. They then said that the charge was from Booking.com. I called the hotel directly and left a message for the general manager (Hunter?), but he didn’t return my call. On 4/20/23, I called again to let them know that the charge is directly from Holiday Inn and that I never used Book.com and never authorized a charge by Holiday Inn on their behalf. RayAnn stated that she was busy and would contact me back, but again, she hasn’t. She also said that she would send me a copy of my receipt, but she hasn’t. Please help. I would like this unauthorized fee refunded.
