I have tried them twice for repairs. Once on a Stihl chainsaw and was told the repairs would be 280.00. The chainsaw wasn't worth that, so the suggested that I let them dispose of it and I did. I took a stihl trimmer to them to fix a broker pull cord. I was told they were behind and it would be 8 weeks out. I agreed. I called them after 3 months and was told it would cost 198.00 to repair. They claim they had reached out to me for authorization via email and phone. I have never heard from anyone. I told them that seemed really high for a pull cord and was told they order their parts from the manufacturer and they is what it will cost. I told them that I would come pick it up and would take it to ************* ( a local stihl dealer ) for fair repair costs. I was then hung up op. I called back several times before anyone would answer. I asked who hung up on me and was told Brian and told to just come get it and hung up on again

Facts behind this transaction. Customer brought his Stihl Weed eater in on 07/29/2021 @ 10:10am because the pull rope came off while trying to start. He was informed at that time we were 4-6 weeks out on getting diagnostics/repairs done. We did an initial triage inspection on the unit 07/30/2021 @ 11:00am and found the unit has multiple broken parts in the starter housing and is going to need deeper diagnosis on the failure. We pulled the machine back in on 08/25/2021 @ 10:55am and found multiple broken parts in the entire starter recoil housing assembly and we were able to determine what parts are going to be needed for his repairs. We emailed an estimate(to the email he provided us) to him for the total repairs labor and parts on 08/25/2021 @ 11:24am. The only response we got from him was on 10/04/2021 when he called to check on his weed eater. We explained to the customer we had emailed the estimate to him for his approval on 08/25/2021. Customer stated he did not receive the email. We proceeded to give the customer an estimate over the phone for his needed repairs. He did not like the estimate and said we were just ripping him off and he could get the parts needed for $9 and have his machine repaired himself. We tried to explain to him the needed parts again and our cost in getting them, but he just started insulting us and berating our shop and said he was going to come get it and take it to another shop for repairs. After multiple insults to us, we terminated the call. He did call us back to get the name of the employee that terminated the call. We told him he was speaking to Bryan, and he did say he was going to turn us into the BBB for ripping people off. We asked if he had any more questions regarding his estimate for repairs and he just kept insulting us, so we terminated the call again. As of today 10/12/2021 his weed eater is still here at the shop and has not been picked up.
