On 10/2021 I signed a contract with Journeyman Years Tiny House Co to custom build a home which was to be delivered on or before 1/31/2022 and go through proper Noah *********** as it states in my contract. Not only did the home arrive late in March 2022 but they failed to get me proper documentation on my home in a timely manner making it hard to secure home insurance. The total amount paid was $78,550 with last payment made April 2022. Ive had nothing but problems since this home was delivered. Leaking doors, AC units flooded my home on more than one occasion, got locked inside the bathroom on my first night staying there, missing items or incorrect items in my home, along with countless other issues which have been met by the company with putting the responsibility back on me. I have contacted Journeyman Years several times by email/text with each time taking longer and longer for them to respond. I have sent several emails about documentation missing (Noah ************* & paid in full receipt) have been met with silence now for 3+ weeks. I found out by directly calling the ***************************** that Journeyman Years completely skipped the Noah ************* meaning my house was not inspected during any parts of the Build!!! The home will need to be taken apart for this inspection to happen. I am now without a home. I am looking for a full refund along with payment to rent a home while I get a new home built by a more reputable company.I am disappointed in Journeyman Years Tiny House Co for cutting corners and putting me at risk of injury or death. For them to state on their website that their homes are Noah ********* and then knowingly not inspect them is a deceptive trade practice and should not go unnoticed.
