My apartment began with a strong foul oder everytime my A/C unit would start,(09/26) the smell was very faint until Friday evening I arrived home around 4pm and the smell had got worse. I went to the front office at 4pm I spoke with ************************************** and she said they would stop by my apartment to see how bad the smell was. She came by with maintenance guy they walked in *** immediately had to step out due to the foul odor they were smelling. We then all 3 walked toy neighbors next door *** knocked on his door and he never answered. They said they didn't have keys to get in either so I went back home and ****** *** the maintenance guy had left already and didn't provide me am update on what I would need to do. This has been a horrible experience for me and my 7 year old twins and 8 month baby. I had to scrape up some money to go stay in a hotel that same Friday night. Even APD demand that I leave with my kids because the smell was disgusting and inhumane to be living in and breathing in the stench from neighbors dead body. They failed to take action and I had to call 911 they didn't do anything about it and still expected my FULL RENT to be paid. Witch is unacceptable I shouldn't have to pay anything if I can't even stay in my apartment due to the sickening smell its affected us both physically and mentally. This is emotionally exhausting and horrible management with how they didn't take care of the situation. They did not think about me or my children and that is not ok on their end. They need to get me out of that apartment and into another one or give me credit because I still paid my rent on time so they wouldn't LATE FEE charge me either. This issue has been resolved, we were notified by *************************** that the neighbor of the person that filed the complain had deceased in the unit. *************************** and Corners took the body and they unit has been cleaned out.
