      Hired this firm to do a almost six figure project in our home and we the home innovations 101 could never fully complete the job, After paying over 60% they actually could never complete the installation and whatever work is done, it's to stable. Some key points to be alert with this vendor -1. When contract was awarded, The owner came up with crew of 3-4 folks but after few weeks he is the only one working, Nothing wrong in owner working but project like this requires a team that he lacks.2. This company lacks skill or know how to be in this business - Even after sepending over 150 hours with them they failed to install the original equipment and configure the devices. They come forfixing one problem and they end up breaking two more.3. They will give a estimate to work for 2 hours to fix things or install or configure but even after spending entire day at my house they will fail to fix and will drag it past our dinner time. At times we had to asked them to leave as we saw no progress rather than guy being here on the phone and getting help from another company or vendor to fix things up.4. HOme innovations 101 removed our fully working equipments and replaced with non required new ones. The part of the wwork they performed was suppose to have given us better internet connection but actually its gotten worse.5. Our telephone system stopped working and these guys could never fix it.6/. They removed old working equipmnets form our home without our permissions, Sort of stealing, Overall stay away from these guys, You will lose, money, peace and time with them.

      Hello, *******.

      The job was physically completed, albeit without the most critical part of the project - commissioning and credential handoff. Unfortunately the phrase that you are using "never fully complete the job" is only technically true because you did not allow the commissioning and handoff to occur because you had premeditated stealing from us. You are using this phrase to deceive others. The job is technically not complete because you refused to allow onsite to complete the job. You have turned us away at your neighborhood security gate on the day of final commissioning. While we can only speculate on why you turned us away after having scheduled the commissioning two Thursdays in advance, we can only assume that it is part of your confidence gaining scheme wherein you gain our confidence in you by acting positively during the install, stating that all is well, and then become irate and upset when we send you the payment portal that you agreed to pay over 18 months ago. You are deliberately absconding from your duty to pay and hiding behind your security guards and/or great distance overseas.

      On the note of timing - Yes, we did take many trips to integrate your old equipment. This was stated and outlined in the original work order. It was not helped by your spontaneous and unplanned trips going back to *****, as you would disappear for many months at a time and randomly show back up in the states demanding that we come to site within 48 hours, in some cases.

      The reason that we reduced that quantity of personnel on your site was because you frequently did not show up to site for critical days of installation. You were unreliable in being present for in-person visits, you left us alone with minor children, you did not reply to emails, phone calls, or text messages, etc. Additionally, only one person was somewhat comfortable with being on your site since your extremely aggressive 100+ lbs. dog would bark incessantly and pound against the flimsy baby gate barely protecting us from being permanently maimed or killed. On more than one occasion, the animal would take an aggressive stance versus an African American personnel and would need to be held back from violently attacking our contractors by 1 or more of your family members. Huge swaths of your ****** sqft house would be guarded by this animal, blocking our access to areas that we were working on and creating situations where nobody was able to ***** us access to said areas. This created a high-stress environment where contractors would have a real and founded fear for their well-being. You had no real regard for the well-being of our contractors, and they felt it while on your site.

      Additionally, you left ***************** to be in ***** for many months at a time, and with little warning. When you would come back, you would instruct us to be onsite sometimes within 48 hours of your arrival, with no regard for letting us know your schedule, your timing, what you expect us to complete, etc. This created a circumstance where we would show up to site having no idea what we were being asked to do, what equipment or issues to expect to encounter. You would typically do this on weekends, where we would not have access to our distribution channels to procure any equipment to satisfy your unexpected demands. Because of your poor communication and poor planning, we could only effectively work for extremely brief periods of time.

      To this day, you have not specifically outlined a problem you are experiencing that can be replicated. When you tell us "Nothing is working", that does not help us. You cannot simply state that nothing is working (1) because that is factually false, and (2) because we would not know what to address since you so rarely are present on site.

      Removing the old equipment was specifically outlined in the original work order. We suggest that you read it. Over ***** pounds of equipment was dismantled at your request and sorted, and it was outlined in the work order that it was part of the project.

      The new equipment used to replace the old equipment works as intended and ******* or a third party dismantled or disconnected it. The current state of the equipment is unknown since we suspect some level of system destruction has been rendered.

      None of the equipment installed has anything to do with telephones. If the very old telephone system is not working, it is likely because ******* does not understand that technology and electronics do not work forever and without maintenance. He expects that there will never be any problem with any electronic installed, ever and that maintenance is not required in order for systems to function properly.

      We removed no equipment from your home. All of the old equipment (over ***** pounds) at your request; was left in your RV garage and in your basement utility room, per your instructions and remains there to this day unless you or a third party removed them. We do not know since you turned us away at the gate on the final day, absconding from your responsibility to pay when payment was supposed to occur.

      It is our assumption that you had planned to have the most difficult part of your project - the (Legacy) Lutron Homeworx completed, since our rates are very reasonable and our custom work is impeccable. Since we agreed to your plan to front-load the work and back-load the payment plan, we were an ideal target for your con to steal from a local small business. It appears that you did get your 50% discount that you asked for in the beginning of the project, since you have successfully stolen from us about 50% of the invoice.
