    On 8/27/22 I received my order from Lone Star Comics. When I opened the package every book in the shipment had suffered damage. I immediately sent a complaint email to *************************** expressing my anger. The shipment was over packed and ZERO shipping protection was used to keep the books from shifting during transit. The following day I salvaged the books that had suffered the least amount of damage and sent back the books in the same shipping box. The package was addressed to ***************************, the owner of Lone Star Comics. The package was intercepted by *************** in the shipping ***** (******************** NEVER saw the package). ********** then proceeded to completely cancel my account with Lone Star Comics. And refund me the balance on books that I had already paid for in good faith. I have been a client of LSC for almost 10 years. But to cover up his departments inadequate shipping failure he chose to cancel me, over a mismanagement problem that I had no involvement it. I never asked for a refund in anyway or at any time. But yet LCS did anyway. It is now obvious to me that Mr. *************** is actually the person in control of the daily business of LCS and not the *******. I am at this time planning a media event in their area to protest this unjustified, malicious cancelling of my account due to Mr. ******************* arrogance. I have researched their business practice's and found many other customers with similar grievances. That's all for now.

    The recent order referred to by the customer was packaged securely and properly by one of our best packers. The box was damaged during shipping. When the customer made us aware of damages to some of the books, our new comics manager decided to send replacements for those damaged comics. This customer has placed numerous orders with us, and has repeatedly harassed or been abusive in his treatment of our employees over a multitude of past instances in both emails and phone calls, often over things outside of our control (publisher delays, printing defects, etc.). The new comics manager decided that since we obviously could not meet the needs/expectations of this customer, we could no longer do business with the customer, and we refunded the customer for books that he had pre-ordered before their release dates. We send out thousands of orders each week, and although we are not perfect, we receive high praise from our customers for our services.
