The first day was October 12, 2020. My tooth was extracted on November 25th. On that day, I was given 3 to 4 shots in my gum to numb the gum for the extraction, but even then the doctor had a tough time pulling out tooth #**. She finally used her fingers to tug at the tooth until it loosened, and she forcefully pulled it out! I felt a sharp pain and tearing sa she pulled out tooth #**. The empty hole bled for the next 6 hours. I had to change the gauze every ** minutes and it was soaked each time. Without a doubt, the trauma of forcefully ejecting #** is what caused the damage to #**.When I woke up the next day the gum of #** was swollen. I was **ncerned, but I thought it was part of having the extraction. Later that night, I started feeling the powdery substance in my mouth, and that was when I got scared! I started calling their emergency line and found due to the Thanksgiving holiday, I **uld not get anyone to attend to me. The Collins Dental office was not opened, so I called the number that was on the receipt. This was how I found their other location in ******, *****. On my way there, I stopped to get a se**nd opinion at another **************** They took X-rays and told me that tooth #** was broken and dangling. I was glad to know that both offices had the same owners. I was ushered in and several X-rays days were taken. ************************* attended to me. The tooth itself had cracked and a broken piece was dangling! She said I had two options; an implant or a root canal. After examination, she **ncluded that I will need a root canal. She immediately started making excuses for the *************** saying they did not know and **uldnt have known that there was an issue with tooth #** when they extracted #**. Right there and then was when the **ver-up began! When I left the office in *****, I immediately went in search of an endodontist. I was in excruciating pain from the 25th of November till December 3rd when I got the root canal. I have over $1,200 in ** pay
