On 8/11/2022, I contacted a seller on OfferUp regarding mattress prices. An account by the name of **** informed me that a queen sized mattress and box springs that would be $219 and that I should visit the shop to see the mattresses. I stopped by the store on Pioneer Parkway with my parents around noon on Thursday. I sat on a few mattresses and decided to upgrade from the cheap one to a middle of the road $199 mattress. I sat on a specific mattress in the store and was told that particular pillow top mattress was $199. I ordered that in the boxspring along with delivery (total with tax coming to $371.30) and was told that it would be there the next day and that I would receive a call an hour before the delivery drivers arrived. 20 minutes after leaving the store, I received a call saying they had a cancellation and could deliver a mattress to my apartment immediately within the next 2 hours. I accepted this and was told that I would still receive a call one hour before the drivers arrived. I was out shopping when I received a call that the delivery drivers were 5 minutes away. I told them I was 30 minutes away and concierge at my apartment proceeded to allow them into my apartment to deliver the mattress. When I arrived home, I found that the mattress delivered was not the one that I sat on in store. I went back to the store on Sunday 8/14/2022 and confirmed that the mattress that I had sat on was not $199 as I was told and the only way they would make it right is to add a restocking fee and charge me an upgrade fee and ANOTHER delivery fee. This is definitely a case of bait and switch. I would also like to note that the mattress delivered to my apartment was missing a tag which is illegal.
