      I had the oil changed in 2009 ***** Accord at this store on 8/12/2022. The technician doing the oil change told me that they were having problems putting the oil drain plug back in my car. He told me that they were putting in m a pan saver. I've never heard of a pan saver. I specifically asked him if they had a hard time removing the plug and he said no, that it removed easily. This tells me that the plug was in properly installed before they removed it, not cross threaded. They must have crossed threaded it putting it back , therefore stripping the threads on oil pan.I have talked to ******* and asst. ******* of store and they keep telling me that they will call me on this issue, but have not returned calls. I feel they need to fix my car and remove the band aid they installed as I wonder how long it will hold up.

      We are in receipt of this guests claim. We contacted the guest via phone call with the Area Manager on September 9th, and explained how cross-threading happens and that it happened during the previous oil change. The Area Manager explained we need to inspect the vehicle. The guest states he is going out of town for a week and can come in when he's back. The Area Manager said that was fine and to call the store and ask to speak to the Service Center Manager and they will get him in. Then on 9/17 the Area Manager tried reaching out a again, with no response. Lastly on 9/28 our Area Manager reached out and said they called the guest and spoke with him and asked him to bring the car back so that we could take a look at it and try to get it taken care of for him. He hasn't returned.

      I am rejecting this response because: ************ refused to accept responsibility for the damage they caused my car. Therefore, I will not withdraw my claim or complaint. I guess you can leave it as an unresolved complaint .  Thank You for your time. *********************

      We are in receipt of this guests claim. Our records indicate that this guest called in and spoke to our ************* team on 10/13. Our team restated that the management did offer to look at this vehicle when they spoke to them on 09/28 but the customer has still not brought the vehicle to the service center. Until this guest does this no action can be taken on our part.

      I am rejecting this response because: I took my car to the store where work was done as requested. The manager looked at my car and there were no oil leaks. He said that they were not going to fix my car. The band aid they put on in place of oil drain plug was all they would do. I wiil not withdraw my complaint and I guess that this will have to be open file. Thank for trying to help me with this problem.
