After being charged $411.90 I was discharged from the office with pain pills and the vet telling me once I had the $275.00 to pay the radiologist to read the **rays I needed to call them. When I asked the vet why she wouldnt even put a splint on my dogs leg (shes a puppy and broke her leg, being a puppy) she said once I had the money and the radiologist report she could treat the injury. I took the **rays to the 24 hour clinic since my dog could hardly walk. They had to retake **rays cause the ones taken by Crossroads were blurry and unreadable, they didnt charge me for the set of x-rays they took and they sent the x-rays to the radiologist for the cost of $125. I called the owner of Cross Roads, requesting my money back minus the cost for the pills and the office visit but I was rudely declined. The owner informed me that she could read the x-rays just fine and I shouldnt have taken my dog somewhere else to be treated. I did inform her that I wouldnt have my dog treated there because I didnt feel that they really cared about the health of my dog, I felt like it was all about the money for them. My dog has a broken leg and is having to have surgery since her growth plate was crushed. Please dont take your fur baby to this clinic if you love them.
