We purchased a manufactured home in December, 2021 from ***** Homes in *****, *****. ***** delivered it but Champion, the builder, was the company that 'married' the home (put the two pieces together). It is done incorrectly. In fact, the insurance company almost wouldn't insure it due to the fact it could leak. We have gone back and forth with ***** and Champion. Somehow we got in between their feuding and no one ever helped us. Finally, they decided it was Champion's fault. I have tried to consult with ********* at this point, ********************************* and she has yet to provide me with someone that can fix my home correctly. We did have one man, *********************** ************************** that works for Champion, come out and look at our home with his supervisor. ****** told us this is a typical issue with Champion. He was so busy fixing other people's homes that had gaps larger than ours that he said he would have to put us on the list. But last Monday, 5/24/22, he informed us 'They would be sending another crew to our house.' So far we have heard nothing from Champion. Along with the outside of the house we have had many, many issues on the inside. Some of them we fixed ourselves, such as leaky sinks, caulking holes, etc. Some we had a different contractor from ***** come to fix. But there are still several serious issues, such as when we turn on the ceiling fan in the living room, the lights flicker. And in one bedroom the floor is unstable. In the master bathroom there is grout falling out of the back of the shower. I can send emails if needed, to show the interaction with ***** and Champion and myself. We just don't know what else to do. I'm also in the process of filing a complaint with TDHCA, but their process is difficult so I haven't gotten very far. Can someone please help me get my brand new home fixed properly? We spent a LOT of money on this home and hoped we would not have to worry about repairs or wires catching fire. Home was delivered and set up in late 2020. There where craftsmanship issues from the beginning. After the first major rain storm almost every window in the house had leaked along with the sliding glass door. A crew was sent out but did not solve the problem. I have been emailing for over 6 months to get this taken care of. At this point the sheetrock has been soaked and discolored and needs to be replaced along with the seals around every window and door. I have gone through every channel possible to resolve this issueBusiness response

Not a Champion ******** customer. OR at least not found in our system. If customer would provide a serial number I could better respond but I suspect the home was built in our Athens, TX facility.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:While I did not buy from this location it was the only location on the BBB website to choose from . the correxct address looks like it is **** ************** Athens ** 75751 This is the manufacturing facility that the home was built in.
