On 4/19/23 Granulawn serviced my lawn. On 5/16/23, I called them to ask about the clover and other broadleaf weeds still active in my yard. They said they would send someone out to spot treat the areas. I noticed that Granulawn was next door at my neighbors spraying his yard. I asked if he was possibly at the wrong location but he assured me he was here to do both. When he came over to my lawn, I showed him the large area of clover and a couple of other small places. He then started spraying most of my yard in an indiscriminate fashion. I was wondering why he was spraying so much but assumed he knew what he was doing. When he was finished, he said Hey, you were right, I wasnt supposed to do your neighbors yard, it was on the next street over. Over the next couple of days, most of my yard started turning yellow then looked to be dying in several spots. On 5/23, I called Granulawn back to tell them what had happened and about my concern with the discoloration of my yard. The lady told me that was normal but I asked her if someone could come out and take a look because it looked anything but normal. The guy who originally sprayed the yard came out and said that normally they dont spray for weeds this late in the season and that the girls on the phone usually tell the customers. I told him they said nothing about it and that I had only asked for a spot treatment on the broadleaves. I also reminded him that I was outside talking to him before he began the treatment and wondered why he didnt tell me it would be a problem. He started getting rude and arguing with me so I went inside to call a supervisor. Someone finally called me back and said they would find out what was put on my lawn to do the damage. I have yet to get a return call. They texted me yesterday to let me know I was due for my next service. I told them not until I get the return call from a supervisor. I still have heard from no one. My yard continues to get worse. Thanks!Customer response

On May 13, 2023 the owner/supervisor, ************ stopped by to look at my lawn. He agreed that damage had been done to the lawn but was unsure about the chemical mix used to damage it. He suggested we try and use fertilizer to jump start the grass and see if it corrects the problem. They are coming out this morning to apply it. I will keep you posted as we try and get it fixed. Thanks for your help, *******Customer response

The owner of Granulawn has been working to get the lawn to an acceptable level. It is still burned and the grass is dead in several areas. The plan is to wait until things cool off some to see how much permanent damage has been done and then lay sod in those areas as needed. It is a work in progress at this point. I appreciate you checking in with us.
