After purchasing my leased vehicle from COVERT CDJR BEE CAVES, the leasing company worked to set up an account for my vehicle. Unfortunately, this process can take several weeks and I did not receive the account information until a month after the purchase was made. On 4/22/2024, the finance manager (*********************************) reached out to me and requested I make my second payment to the dealership and subsequently, the dealership would make the payment to the financing company. Unfortunately, this did not happen and resulted in my leasing account being past due by $864.60.Business response

We asked ************************ to take both payments out of the proceeds we received from them but they did not. ************** paid us $846.60 which was returned to her AmEx about ten minutes ago. Our staff will communicate that to her.Customer response

During the purchase process I was told that I could cancel these warranties within 30 days. I have repeatedly tried to contact the finance department to cancel and have not been able to get in touch with anyone to help. I suspect I am intentionally being avoided until the 30 day period lapses.Business response

Unfortunately, I do not find this gentleman in our system. Could he have purchased from another store or under a different name. Phone number isn't in our system, either.

I'm so sorry but this vehicle was purchased at our Bee ********** this is the ****** store that is being contacted it states it the paperwork. This will need to be handled there! If I may help Contact the store I will be happy to! Thank you!

I went to Covert CDJR to possibly buy a vehicle, during initial greet everything went well until it came time to talk about numbers and financing the vehicle. Multiple times during their request for my information they assured me and guaranteed it would not pull a hard inquiry and it did, when confronting them on the subject they said my bad, we miscommunicated mind you I had not signed any paperwork up to this point. When it came time to actually run my credit there were only allotted to run it five total times and they ran it six. They continuously lied about the figures being presented to me, today I got a report that my credit received another hard inquiry from the dealer. When I called to confront them about this matter as I didnt buy a vehicle there and left with no purchase the finance manager was very irate and unprofessional about the matter and unfortunately not very empathetic towards the safety of my credit. He stated multiple time that it wasnt him or Im not going to talk to you if you are not going to listen to what I am saying this was extremely rude and unprofessional. They over inquired on my credit without permission and they pulled a hard inquiry with no signature or permission for that one, all they had to say was it was a miscommunication.Business response

I am rejecting this response because this is simply not what happened during my visit. The sales person helping me ensured that I would not receive any credit inquiries when I asked why he was requesting my social security information. It was not until after the first hard credit inquiry that I was presented with anything to sign that I have given consent to run my credit a total of five times. If the dealer knew this was an automatic thing why did they do it. When they brought the preliminary numbers I was not interested in the purchase as it did not meet my standards. I never agreed to have my credit ran further and I declined their offer. When I confronted the manager about the inaccurate information that was told to me they stated Im sorry we misinformed you. That is not good enough for me as hard inquiries lower ones credit. This was the fault of the dealer and their inability to properly inform customers of what they are doing.
