      I bought a pre-owned 2021 Nissan Armada SL at South Austin Nissan on August 4, 2023. The advertised price was $****** and I booked an appointment to see the car. When I got there the price was changed to $37,900. I showed them the screenshot on my phone of the advert of the car with the price of $******. The salesperson, ******************* went to get the floor manager ***********************. ***** said they don't have control of the price as it changes depending on the current stock market. So, I said they need to give the price as stated when I called and booked an appointment. Then ***** said he needed to ask his boss, he left a few minutes and came back. He said they will honor the price and gave me a quote with an additional $3500 which he said it is the **** Environmental Protection Plan. He said they have to add EPP on every car they sell. I asked him what is this and he said for example if I spill a coffee or a stone hit my car, but he did not say this is a warranty. So I checked on Nissan website about this EPP he was telling and I could not find anything about it. I told him there is nothing on Nissan website. Then he said these are the things they already added to the car. So I thought what he was saying about spilled coffee and stone hitting my car was not making sense and he was just making this up. I then asked if I need to pay this if I buy the car and he said that I need to. So I said if they could lower that ***** to $2000 then I would buy the car, hoping the ***** will be itemized on the receipt. To my surprised there was no ***** on the receipt. They just added the $2000 to the ****** to the price of the car which is now $36,880.They also told me there is a *** tracking device on the car. So I tried to activate it a few days after I got the car and it was not working. I tried calling and even texted the 2 salesperson but no response. I am not bothered with the *** device. But adding an ***** that does not make sense is definitely a fraud.

      I recently bought new car from South Austin Nissan I had several problems on this visit first the salesman didn't have the key to the car that he suggested next after waiting a long time for them to cleaned the car I got in and saw a large amount of miles I jumped out of the car and said that I wasn't going to take the car The salesman asked why I told him it wasn't a new car he said what do you mean it is a new car I said it has a lot of miles on it and he says let me get a manager. he came back a short time later the manager asked me what was wrong I explained to him that the car had about 132 miles and then I told him that at most it should have no more than 50 he said that he would pay me $8.00 a mile for the miles to get it to 50 and it about $500.00 I said ok not counting later finding that it was $656 again complaining it took 3 visits to get that fixed I was already questioning the interest rat of the lone This is the 4 car that I have bought from this location and told him that would be seeking another lender after being contacted by another lender they asked me to get a few of the extras dropped and it would be better and I popped in the flash drive which was to have my contract on it which was blank all but gap insurance extended warranty so I contacted Nissan and they supplied me with the contract on the paperwork for the Title it stated that the car had 5 miles on and it was about 133 miles I went up there 3 days after I took it home about this and the price that they advertised on the web and what I paid it was advertised for ********* and by the time the paper work was completed It was ********* and I was to get Nissan bonus cash because of my loyalty to Nissan Nissan needs to step in and do something

      Im a new car buyer. I went to purchase a car that was listed for about $5000 from South Austin Nissan. **** was my helper seemed like a cool dude but thats just to get you in. They finessed me out of $13000 thats $8000 more than what the car was listed for ($5000) that I have to now pay. ****** learned and I will know next time. **** said he felt really bad and that he doesnt know why they do things this way and that h*** make up for it. (Never did). Instead he ghosted me. Id advise you stay away from this dealership and ****! Ive left a review on their website. And after reading all of BBB reviews it seems like South Austin Nissan is just a big SCAM!

      I called this dealership yesterday (9-28-2022) to inquire about a vehicle they had. The woman who answered the phone told me the vehicle was still there and was ready for purchase. She also told me that it had passed inspection. So I get up early to get there to begin all the paperwork. Once I arrive found out, after waiting 30 minutes, that the vehicle was not there and was being sent to action. They said it was unsafe. They then began to pressure me to buy another car way out of the price range I wanted to spend! I left and talked to a salesperson I know, they said that that this dealership is notorious for this. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE ********

      False advertising, they have this truck for $35,888 on THEIR OWN website I asked about it with a Salesman Named ********************* called me and I told him I saw it online for that price never did he mention they add market adjustments not protection plans. They sent me an application saying it wouldnt hurt my credit until we came up with a good price on the payments as soon as I finished the application my credit took a hit, they ran my credit and never mentioned anything about potential payments or that of the real price of the truck that was actually $43,886 after adding $3,999 of market adjustment eventho this is a used vehicle , and also $3,999 of what they call a protection plan which is nothing more then an expensive detail they add according to them to all of their vehicles. I finally got a call they were like your payments are this much seemed high for a truck that Supposedly was only $35,888 when I asked why they sent me this paper just stating the payment and the adjustments no apr or anything had to keep calling to find out the real apr and hidden charges. Financing best they could do was ****% again on a used vehicle I purchased a 2022 0 miles this year at 4%. They apparently have horrible financing options, and try to hide as much as they can to let customers that have never purchased a vehicle before get screwed. Do your research this place is a scam.

      Bought a 2018 nissan murano had it for 3 hours check engine light came on. Took it back they said it was fixed. Had it for 3 days again check engine light came on. Took it back again. I bought this car 3 weeks ago and I haven't even had my car for a week because it's in the shop. Went today to try to get this settled and they won't work with me at all.

      My wife and I bought a pre-owned vehicle from South austin nissan.. the day we drove off the lot the check engine light came on... it had been in the shop three times so far and they are still unwilling to make an effort to keep us happy.. this has been the worst car buying experience I've ever been involved in...

      I needed help going over information pertaining to my car payment. First person I spoke with was ****** the receptionist. Who informed me I would receive a call back. Two weeks later I didn't receive a call.****** could not transfer me to finance to speak with someone or to leave a message. After no resolution I requested to speak with manager. ****** could not Tranfer me to a manager. I Had to drive over 1.5 hrs to get answers.

      I went into South Austin Nissan for an appointment scheduled between 1-1:30pm with a sales representative. I arrive around 1 pm, not greeted by anyone. Sit in the lobby for a few minutes thinking receptionist or sales representative is bound to call my name. Ten minutes pass and I have to interrupt one of the other sales representatives to inquire about my scheduled appointment with my sales representative. I meet with my sales representative who takes down my information and has my 2021 ********** Outlander reviewed for trade in as previously discussed with the receptionist when I called to schedule the appointment. A couple of things I noticed throughout my 4-5 hour stay (didnt leave till 6pm) my sales representative would rarely come back to the room to let me know either hes waiting on numbers or waiting for the ******** Nissan Rogue to get to the lot (which come to find out an hour or two later the vehicle was already in the same lot). Meanwhile I see hes assisting other customers while Im consistently waiting in the room. In the rare occasions he returns to the room, Im given an estimate of $659/ mo (which went up to $715 once finance added GAP and extended warranty) payment for a ******** Nissan Rogue with ****** miles, only power train warranty for ******* miles or 5 years, no bumper to bumper, and the sales rep never showed me the car fax. They were willing to completely pay out my 2021 ********** which only had ***** miles and in great condition. However, I kept being told I could refinance before the first payment or after the first payment or after several payments depending on who was talking to me (red flag as 3 people had different things to say about refinancing). Mind you I currently pay $481 for my ********** and I bought this vehicle brand new. In addition, my credit score was higher this time around at 777. At the last minute I canceled everything. I sincerely felt they did not have my best interest, overpriced for CPO, and inconsistent.

      The customer completed the purchase of the vehicle and then decided she did not like the terms that were agreed to. We allowed her to completely cancel the signed agreement and refunded her all monies. Not sure how her changing her mind and us allowing her to cancel a signed contract is a problem.

      It is beyond comprehension that your solution to this problem is to refer us back to the dealership where this problem originated and couldn't get resolved. I see now that your tactic of circular referrals, where the dealership refers the consumer to Consumer Affairs and, in turn, Consumer Affairs refers the consumer back to the dealership to avoid resolving an issue, seems to be the Nissan corporate policy. Interesting tactic, but seldom beneficial for long term company growth.We are very disappointed in the initial response from South Austin Nissan, and even more disappointed that the Nissan brand doesn't support their customer. As a result of this horrible experience with Nissan, we will not purchase or support Nissan in the ************************************************ and *****

      We have reached out to the customer with no response back. We assisted the customer with trading them out of their *************************** and provided a 2022 Nissan at the same payment. This was completed in May 2021. Not sure what their issue is 1 year later but with no communication back from them we are unable to resolve whatever their issue may be.

      We gave the dealer ample opportunity to resolve the issue at the outset, but unfortunately they wouldn't help and directed us to Nissan Corporate Consumer Affairs. The only reason that the 2022 vehicle was the same payment as the 2021 vehicle was because we had to pay an additional $1500 down payment and had already made 2 payments on the original loan that the dealer promised would be reimbursed by Nissan. Typical dealer speak to use "payment" as a comparison. Why would we waste more time trying to resolve this issue with the dealer when we've already spent hundreds of hours trying to get this resolved initially.
