Owner ******* said he would clean the chimney from the roof and the living room. I told him the living room access was just cleaned the week before but he said it was not an adequate cleaning without the roof access point. It was raining hard the day of arrival. His crew cleaned the already cleaned access point (another company did it) but not the roof. He charged me full price. Said I had mislead him on the height of the chimney and they did a good job on the living room access. I reflected after he was gone and realized Id been charged full price for a half job. I called to ask for my money back. He was very defensive, blamed me for misleading him and told me to take my complaint to the BBB. So I am. He said we would sit in a conference room at the BBB for three hours with a mediator but if I wanted to do that with my time, so be it. I had just had another bad experience with a chimney company, so Area Wide was chosen from your recommended businesses. I would like my money back.Business response

I gave her a full refund thats what see asked for I immediately mailed her a full refund
And the check cleared the bank.
