      Second Round was paid by me in 2019 for a collection account that they held for Victoria's ******* At the time of payment I requested a "pay to delete" and it was agreed upon. Since that time I have been given the run around by the company. I have contacted ************** the bank for Victoria's ****** credit cards and they continue to direct me to Second Round. I have gotten no amenable response nor solution from this company and need this issue resolved and the account removed from my credit report, please.

      We appreciate the opportunity to respond to ******************** concerns.  Please be advised that Second Round ceased credit reporting in 2020.  At that time we removed all consumer reporting and closed our account.  ***************************************** does not have any reporting on ******************** credit bureau.  As such I cannot provide any assistance to her in this matter.   **************** would need to contact the entity that is reporting for any additional concerns.  Thank you

      I am rejecting this response because: Their response is an outright lie. The representative I spoke to stated Second Round owned the debt and would be updating the credit reporting agencies of the pay to delete. That was never done. I will continue to pursue this, as it is harming my abilities to buy a home to live closer to my daughter's cancer treatment team.

      Second Round Sub LLC garnished my ********** account $2,480.18 without my being notified that I had a judgement! My bank didnt even email me! Ive moved to **************************************************************. My ph # and email have been the same for many years! Not even a message left or certified letter received! I needed that money for my cars repairs! Please contact me because I dont even know who the debtor is since this company buys Junk Debts? *******************

      We appreciate the opportunity to respond to ******************** concerns.  Please find attached copies of the Summons to appear at Hearing, a copy of ******* of ******** A copy of the judgement obtained against **************** along with the garnishment request filed with and approved by the court, sent to the ******************** bank with a copy sent to his home address.  These documents were all sent or served on **************** at the address he lists as his current address.  We have reviewed this matter with counsel and at this time they have received no funds from the bank.  The correct garnishment amount was requested by the firm representing Second Round but because any funds held have not been forwarded as of this date, we cannot comment on the amount the consumer believes has been held in his account.  If **************** has further questions he can contact our representative in this matter, *************************** at ************.  They would be able to provide any additional information.  We believe the information attached will allow **************** to identify the account and provide assurance that all required notifications were sent in this matter.

      I got a letter stating that my wages would be garnished and on my next check, my wages were garnished. I have no idea who Second Round LP is representing and I had no chance to make a payment plan. I'm more than willing to make a payment plan but $200 each paycheck is way too much. I can barely afford to live already. I owe *******.

      Second Round appreciates the opportunity to respond to the consumers concerns.  This account was originally issued as a Torrid credit card through ************* with an account number ****************.  The account was charged off by ************* on April 30th, 2019 and was purchased by Second Round on May 8th, 2019.  At that time a goodbye letter informing ****************** about that sale was sent by ************* to the consumer at the address provided by the consumer in this complaint (copy attached). We also show that all statements for the card were sent to the consumer at the address provided in this complaint. Second Round and/or servicers attempted to reach ****************** a number of times but received no response.  The account was assigned to a law firm and on February 13th, 2020 the firm obtained a judgement against ******************. A copy of that judgement is also attached.

      To receive assistance on the garnishment ****************** may contact ************ at ************.  We hope this information allows the consumer to identify the debt and provides her with information to discuss the matter with the law firm who obtained the judgement.

      We have researched public records and can find no record of the consumer's decease.  To be able to do further research on this matter the consumer should submit a copy of the death certificate to Second Round.  That can be sent via this complaint or can be mailed to *******************************************************

      Yesterday, I received a letter from a **************** ******** attorney named **************************** The letter referenced a lawsuit filed against me by Second Round Sub. In the letter Mr ********* offered to represent me in the case.I have never been contacted by Second Round Sub regarding any debt. Nor have I been notified by anyone of a lawsuit being filed against me. I have reviewed my credit report from all three reporting agencies, and they are all impeccable. Therefore I consider this letter to be harrassment and the filing by Second Round Sub to be without merit.I would like a written apology from Second Round Sub, and a statement that no collection proceedings have been issued against me. Upon receiving such a written statement, I will forward it to Mr. **********

      Second Round is in receipt of the complaint by ************** and has researched the matter. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the complaint. 

      Second Round purchased the Express account ending in **** issued by ************* on 8/14/2019. The account originated on 8/4/2015 and was charged off on 7/31/2019. Since ************** advised she is now represented by an attorney, we have forwarded her concerns to the law firm handling her account, along with the contact information for her attorney.       I am rejecting this response because:  I have never engaged an attorney.  I was contacted by an attorney who was apparently fishing for business, based on information he gleaned from your company.  The collection matter you have attached to me is incorrect.  I have no accounts (no have ever had to my knowledge) ending in 6434.  Nor have I ever been contacted by ************* (or anyone) regarding a collection matter.  You have obviously attached this issue to me in error, and I would appreciate your resolving the matter immediately.  Again, I have not engaged any attorney, and you may resolve the matter without any contact with an attorney.
