I called the number I had for ****'s garage repair from six years ago and was connected to this company. I guess they must've bought him out. They were able to get somebody out to fix the spring on my garage door. The guy who came out told me I also needed some other things replaced and told me the price would be around $1300 which ended up being $1417 with the surcharge they added. I thought that seemed extremely high considering I didn't pay nearly half of that when I replaced the spring six years ago. He was done within 20 minutes and I paid him reluctantly feeling that I was being way over charged. I was able to get a hold of my brother who is a contractor right after they finished and he called Cedar Park Overhead doors. Together we were able to get a quote from ********** Overhead Doors for exactly what was just done at my house. The total with tax at ********** came up with was $818. I was charged $600 more using this company than one of the other competitors in the area for the exact same job. I also was told by the technician that if I needed to replace my garage door it would be $3500. Cedar Park overhead doors told me that that price for a new door would be $2100. As you can see, they are gouging people with their prices. . I have called the office at least 7 times in the last two days to try to get a manager to review the invoice and to find out why I was charged $600 more than I should've been. No luck! I did speak with somebody when I asked for manager and she told me that because I signed the contract theres no way I would get anywhere with complaints to the Better Business Bureau so good luck! Before hanging up on me, she told me she would send me an email with all of their pricing. Needless to say, she never sent me anything and when I called back an hour later, I was told they were still waiting for a manager to call me back so obviously she wasnt even a manager but was pretending she was. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with!
