We have paid Pro-Tractor Services the following amounts to date to remodel two bathrooms, remove old vinyl plank flooring and install new luxury vinyl plank flooring, widen a master closet, extend opening to dining room by removing a closet, plus installation of mirrors, bathroom lighting, baseboards, quarter-round, and plumbing work.*We paid $11, 450 on 11/26/22.*We paid $6228.30 on 1/13/22.*We have one more payment to make in the amount of $5425.00.*There are two issues that still require adjustment/correction/repair: *1. The replacement of living room cracked luxury vinyl plank flooring was, in our understanding, to involve 6 planks that would be installed using the recommended professional interlocking pattern. Instead, one plank was taken up, the moisture resistant underlayment removed, and then a new plank glued in. This has compromised the appearance of the floating floor (2nd installment) as well as the waterproofing system. We seek a correction.2. In the past 2 weeks, we have discovered that the removal of the outlet at the dining room extended area resulted in completely cutting off all electrical wiring to the interior dining room wall and the exterior deck lighting. We seek a repair and correction to return electrical service to this area.We contacted the contractor with our concerns a week ago and were promised a call back. No communication has been received to date.We have spent a lot of money on this project and have purchased higher end materials including waterproof NuCore luxury vinyl plank flooring for that purpose. We want to see this project end in a manner that is satisfactory to all.We are prepared to work with Pro-Tractor to reach a final settlement.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      The remedies we discussed include:

      1.  Repair and reconnection of electrical wiring in dining room by a licensed electrician.

      2.  Reimbursement for charge of flooring repair in living room including materials and labor.  This is scheduled to be done on 4/24/23 and 4/25/23.

      3.  We accept offer to assist in installation of barn doors on master closet.

We're pleased about completing this project.

      Thank you.

      Regards,

In August 2021 I contracted Pro-Tractor Services to install two Panoramic Doors. When **** Susan came over to assess the job, I asked him if his company had experience with these kind of doors and he said they did. I gave him a brochure and the paperwork concerning doors I ordered. Subsequent to that I gave **** the contact information for the Panoramic Doors representative in Austin. In November on the day when the doors were suppose to arrive an employee of Pro-Tractor services showed up. He told me he had no idea what work was to be performed that he was just told to show up ready to work. The doors were delayed coming that day but, the worker and his helper removed the drywall based on the width I had roughly outlined on the wall. However, he took the drywall out to the ceiling because he had no information about the measurements of the doors. When the doors did arrive the worker had another helper with him and they were "figuring out" what to do to install the doors.I called **** Susan and he said they were contacting their expert who had experience in installing retail doors. In total I had asked **** Susan three times if he knew how to install Panoramic Doors and each time he said yes he did however, that was a lie. I had already paid half down ($2,500) and tried to put a stop payment on that but, it was unsuccessful. I had to find and hire other people who were familiar with installing Panoramic Doors. They had to re-install the drywall the Pro-Tractor Services employee had cut out along the ceiling and adjust the opening.Pro-Tractor Services will only refund $1,500 of the $2,500 I paid. I do not think this is right because number one they lied to me. Further, I do not think removing 77 inches X approx 90 inches of drywall, leaving said drywall for me to dispose of, and scratching their heads trying to "figure out" what to do for a couple of hours is worth $1,000. I want a full refund.

Protractor's bid was to install an assembled door.  The door that was ordered and given to us had to be assembled, including inserting the glass.  I apologize for the confusion on your project.  We received a payment in the amount of ******* on 10/28 by e-check, the amount was not *******.  Also, we have issued two checks and in fact paid you ******* for you refund of ******* that we received.  I have attached images of both checks as well as the payment that was received.
