      ******************* Ordered a yearbook for my student in middle school. Came late after school let out for the summer. **************** number isn't working. I sent an email, still no answer. Want partial refund. Yrbook wasn't engraved and we didn't receive signing pens. Poor customer service.

      If I could give zero stars I would have. Single mom barely making it and all my special needs son wanted was a class ring! Ordered it, a little over $300 which is a lot for me. Ordered it on 4/26/24. Balfour didnt hesitate to take my money. I called twice and they told me its taking up to 8 weeks. Found the Balfour representative for the school and he told me it was to be shipped last week! When I called they said the plant was closed the week of 4th of July!! What? Oh but they got their money! Today the representative sends an email with tracking number. I track it and its getting sent to some address in a city 11hrs from us! Are you kidding me?! I cant drive that far! But one of the times I called they told me it was to be shipped to our address! Get your stuff together Balfour! We are spending hard earned money!! So now my son doesnt get a class ring because I cant drive 11hrs. And we are out over $300! Wonderful! Happy Graduation to my son, right Balfour?! I will tell everyone I know about the lack of customer service and theft this company is! I will also relay this to the school because we are getting scammed and its not right! This should be a joyous occasion! Now what am I going to do??

      If i could give 0 stars i would. Had my college ring in need of resize after a couple years after graduation. Went online and did some research for the process to send back and grab the address. i called to verify my 2000$ ring was going to the right place and that i was understanding the instructions properly. i was connected to probably one of the rudest people i have ever dealt with at any buissness. I was told "if you would just listen i would tell you what you need to know". Finally got the situation taken care of with no help to this lady and got my ring sent off.Months went by and was finally notifed they received my ring. All is good. Another month goes by. Currently at roughly 10 weeks from the time it was sent. I called customer service to make sure i did not need to have a pending payment. I was told they had no way of looking up my ring and had no clue what the current situation of the ring was. I called back a couple weeks after and spoke to another individual and finally convinced them to finally do her job and type my name and address in the system. Surprisingly they were able to locate it was still on site but still had no ETA or completion date. A couple more weeks went by and it showed up finally out of no where.This company is a joke for the amount of money spent with them on rings. The customer services ***** and will not recommend anyone to do business with them. ***** they seem to be the monopoly in the collegiate ring world. I would rather give my money to ******* or a local place to custom build one before i dealt with these clowns again.

      ********* is the worst customer service in ********************. I ask if they can deliver it directly to my house, instead of explaining it clearly that the school had an agreement to deliver it to school, he just got upset and shouts that is not possible. I would understand it, if he speaks clearly and explain it in a professional immediately. Balfour needs to consider getting a trainer for customer service not a felon with anger issues.

      I wouldn't even give them 1 star if I could! Ordered my son's yearbook on 3-04-24. I called at the end of May and they couldn't track my order and couldn't tell me nothing about it. They told the school one thing and told me a totally different story. I emailed the principal of our school and suggested they switch companies and he strongly agreed. They're customer service is horrible! Please find another company to order your yearbook or class ring!

      Worst College ring experience in my life. Initial order was made based on College bookstore recommendation. Purchased 2/10/24 and delays occurred and the original time 6-8 weeks became ***** now looking at ***************************************** 2 weeks. I Believe in my opinion this is a fraudulent company and they have totally been gaslighting customer. Not to mention the customer service email and phone operators are rude as h*** if I could give negative stats they would have it.

      Horrible customer service. Got sent a ring I did not order. Reached out to them about it and never received the shipping label they said they would send to get the ring fixed. Reached out to them again and they said I would have to pay shipping fees. It doesnt make sense because they sent the wrong ring in the first place. Finally agreed on paying shipping fees one way and they will cover return shipping fees, but now they are saying they wont fix the ring unless I pay return shipping fees as well. I wish I would have read the negative reviews before ordering. Paying over $500 for a ring that I didnt order and now dont even have is a scam.

      Absolutely horrible experience with Balfour for my Clemson Class ring. I graduate this week. It is past the repair window especially when it was stated my repair would be expedited. They incorrectly set the stone on my ring and sent me the wrong size. At my ring ceremony I could fit my ring on my finger which was even more disappointing and stressful. The rep for Clemson will not answer or return any phone calls. The customer service for ******************** gives me a different story every time I call. At this point I just want my money back and to order my ring from the previously contracted company with our university. From the previous reviews it looks like this is a consistent issues. Balfour you are a terrible excuse of a graduate company. Also, to charge so much for announcements, and then have the customer fold them?! Such a joke.

      Like other reviewers, I would also leave a 0 star review if possible. Despite Balfour's claims about craftsmanship and attention to detail, for several hundreds of dollars I received a ring that was defective on its face. Then, I had to pay $15 to send the product back to have it repaired or replaced under their warranty and they expect me to pay for return shipping once they fix their mistakes. As such, I will have to pay $30 for their poor craftsmanship and quality control. Moreover, they quoted me an absurd timeline of ***** weeks to have the product reviewed by an "expert" and send me a seasonable ring. Their customer service hotline is clearly outsourced to some foreign call center, so the only way to actually get ahold of a Balfour representative is via email. Even then, they provide little help and scarce details as to what is happening with your order. This company's communications are stale and outdated, their workmanship is unreliable, and their repair or replacement process is opaque and time consuming. Perhaps this would not be such a big problem for an Etsy seller that makes cheap jewelry, but for Balfour's prices people should demand better. Seems to be another company that relies on longstanding contracts with American colleges to keep their business afloat, therefore having little concern for actual customer satisfaction.
