      I had Sendero as my health insurance company through December 31, 2020. For 2021, I switched to another company because of issues that required several lengthy phone calls to try to resolve them. These included having a copay five times what it should have been, and never receiving an updated insurance card.The current issues: on concluding my policy, I had an overpayment that has never been refunded to me, despite my contacting Sendero repeatedly. The amount was small, about $5.70 if I recall, but it should have been sent to me in January at the latest. I was told I would receive a check in 1.5 months, but months later, I still haven't received it. I also still receive emailed survey solicitations over and over again. They ask about my "recent experience" or "recent medical visit." This isn't Sendero's concern, since I no longer have insurance with them. I was told this would be resolved as well, but I received another solicitation just today.

      I changed health insurance from another company to Sendero late last year. I was expecting member ID information and cards to be delivered in time for the new year; nothing arrived.In mid-January I received an email linked to 'temporary ID cards,' which I duly followed to an empty page that quickly redirected to the main Sendero site. I went looking for any way to my ID numbers and eventually found the 'members portal'. The trick is, I need my ID numbers to enter it,I tried to log in, used every password I know, and I couldn't do it. Then I selected to reset password multiple times and each time, no reset email arrived to the address I used to set the account up.I called their helpline after hours to find anything out. The recorded message is that I can leave a message and they'll get back to me in *48* hours.I searched for reviews after this, and buyer's remorse is hardly enough to cover my chagrin. I never believed health insurance costing hundreds of dollars a month could result in this, and yet, here it is. Never again, and if at all possible, I'll be moving on.
