We contracted with Laurel Haven to build ** a home in late 2020. We moved in August 2022 with a promise that the punchlist and our pool would be completed within about a month. It's now 7 months later and over 100 items remain on the punchlist - the builder has abandoned the project, not performing any work on my home in the past ************************************************* several places, there are multiple code violations and the quality of workmanship is poor. I have several areas in my $40k flatwork that are 2" thick, when minimum code thickness for a driveway is 4".This is the current status of our pool - **************************** Exposed rebar in foundation - **************************** 2" thick flatwork - *******************************************Business response

Laurel Haven Homes is a highly reputable custom homebuilder with over 20 years of local service and hundreds of loyal, satisfied client. In this extremely isolated instance we find ourselves in a disagreement with this homeowner. Laurel Haven Homes disputes the allegations made by the homeowner. The homeowner has initiated arbitration in this matter which has halted any progress on the few outstanding items that remain on the punch list. Laurel Haven Homes has claims against the homeowner as well that will be part of the arbitration. As such, Laurel Haven Homes is not in a position to resolve the homeowners dispute through this venue as it is the subject of an ongoing arbitration. Please advise what action, if any, needs to be taken on our part given this status.Customer response
