      Hotel is in dis-repair. Most amenities are closed but this information was not included on their page or when I booked so I only found out they were closed when I arrived. Large air vents running from outside through inside of hotel and onto ceiling. Safety hazard bc the vents block some of front entrance and causes loud noise. No hot water at all and the front desk is aware and is trained to tell you about it after youve checked in. When everyone is using it and because of old plumbing, hot water is not available . I tried to shower at off peak times, 4pm and again at 5am and still ice cold. Carpets old and dusty. A/C in my room didnt work and they said it was because it was a new system. Bed was itchy and uncomfortable so I left early morning after having gotten no sleep. The bedding is old and smelly. Room and bathroom not clean. Paint and floorboards coming off the walls. The staff are really nice but this hotel should not even be open to public due to so many health and safety concerns. Tried to file a complaint with the hotel once I got back home but was told by ****** that they could do nothing for me bc I did not file the complaint in person while I was there. Just a horrendous experience.

      I checked into this hotel on Friday, September 22, 2023. WE chose this hotel because the Expedia ad showed a nice pool area in what appeared to be a higher end hotel with a drastically slashed price. Upon arrival we discovered that the pool had been closed all summer and was not functional. Additionally, the ** in the room didn't work, there was no hot water, the restaurant was closed and the vending/ ice areas were closed. We decided to check out and seek different accommodations.Upon checkout I worked with ******, a manager. She told me she was removing the pending charges and that I would be charged nothing. Unfortunately, the pending charges did not drop off and the full amount was charged to my credit card. Since then I have made 15 calls to the property and have been continually put off with excuses for why ****** is not returning my calls. I have also emailed her directly as well as the district manager, *******************************. I have called Choice Hotels customer relations twice and have still gotten no response from anyone at the hotel. This is fraud.

      I made a reservation to stay at this hotel for arrival on Aug 26th for an event that was taking place, Check out was Aug 28th. During my stay I noticed that the bedding was not clean, in fact their was a bug in my bed. I called downstairs and made a complaint no one came, I went downstairs and made a complaint and was told a manager would be in contact with me. The next day we noticed roaches in our room and on the bathroom handle. I made a complaint again and was told they are sorry for the inconvenience, I explained that I'm a nurse and these were unsanitary living conditions. The host group Call in sick, members experienced the same issues, they were provided a refund by the *** He did come in and did a sit down meeting with them. I did NOT book my room with them rather separately( Directly via hotel website) and when I called to speak to the manager I was told the ** refunded the group due to the issues we had and that I had to go through them for a refund, Again I booked directly with the hotel which means my issue is with the hotel and not the group. My refund should be coming directly from the hotel, when I called I was told the ** would call me back , it's been a month, no call or resolution.

      I've been going back and forth with Raddison hotel Austin North to receive my payment that was taken from my card. They were only to take a $25 deposit from a card in my name and instead took the $25 and an additional $125.61. No one has been able to explain why this charge was taken out. ***** and ****** (Managers) stated that the payment should have never been taken from my card. I called again today, and Lizzie *********** is stating she only see one reservation and doesn't see any charges on my card.

      This is ******** with Radisson North, Austin. As per our phone conversation, we refunded ********************************* her credit-card and this issue has been resolved from our stand point with the hotel.
