My Mother Passed in May 2020 from Covid. This Insurance company has canceled our home owners insurance because ***** Fargo did not send payment in to them on time. My mother's estate is in probate process. We have been paying house payments with taxes and Insurance into a escrow account. This company canceled our insurance d/t not receiving payment on time. When asked why we didn't receive any correspondence or mail from them about not receiving payment from ***** Fargo or a possible cancelation of policy notice in the mail. **** stated she sent them to our address. I asked what address she had on file. She gave me my mother's previous address as mailing address. So we never received any correspondence till after they canceled our home insurance. . It gets better. They received payment today from ***** Fargo. I get a voicemail from **** stating they are not going to reinstate our home owners insurance either way because ******** didn't send them there payment on time. So if you want insurance on your side as Nationwide Claims. And this Insurance company claims. As you can read above they care nothing about there customers nor keeping good documentation so they can send notices to correct address so Home owners can try and prevent this from situations happening. If you decided to go with this company just make sure there doing their job correctly and have all correct information. My mother and father had Nationwide Home owners insurance for over 35 years. For this cancelation to happen to us without us being at fault is purely poor customers service.
