I was one of the people who invested in Microsalt through Microventures. The company ended up going public without giving the initial seed investors an opportunity to participate in the **** and we are all confused. Microsalt has simply told us that the new investors are vetted (millionaires) and that's that. No attempt has been made to give the initial investors any additional reasoning.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Microventures. My investment in Microsalt shares was made when the company was very small, and I trusted Microventures to guide us through a successful growth period. However, the reality was far from what was promised. Recently, Microsalt sold themselves without providing any tangible benefits to their investors. Despite holding onto our shares through their early stages, we received no return on our investment. It's clear that Microventures failed to protect and prioritize the interests of their investors. Their lack of transparency and poor decision-making left us high and dry.I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Microventures to anyone looking to invest. Their handling of the Microsalt situation has been a ***** reminder of how poorly managed investments can be with the wrong guidance. Don't trust Microventures with your hard-earned money.

I have had mixed returns of investment using Microventures. I did double my money on my very first investment. But since then I've had disappointing experiences with Microventures with no return (as of yet and I've had most investments for 5 to 8 years). But the most recent investment I've made is definitely the worst with details below. My investment in Microsalt shares was made when the company was very small, and I trusted Microventures to guide us through a successful growth period. However, the reality was far from what was promised. Recently, Microsalt sold themselves without providing any tangible benefits to their investors. Good concept, but unfortunately a scam. Ive been investing with MicroVentures for a number of years, and unfortunately have had only negative experiences. When funding startups, you expect most to fail. I am fine with that, as I k ew the risk. My issue is with the successful companies. You are not considered a true shareholder; you are simply considered a source of free ******** *********** I had invested in has performed well and went through a recent acquisition and liquidity event. Many shareholders were allowed to cash out or otherwise benefit from the transaction. That is not the case for MicroVentures investors. They recently sent a mass email trying (and failing) to explain why were are not eligible to participate in the companys success. There has been no resolution aside from some insulting comments by MicroVentures and the company in question, basically minimizing our contributions. In short, stay far away from MicroVentures and any of their investing opportunities.

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with Microventures.I invested in Microsalt shares when the company was still in its infancy, trusting that Microventures would navigate us towards successful growth. Unfortunately, the outcome was far from the optimistic picture that was painted. Recently, Microsalt sold the company without delivering any benefits to its investors. Despite holding onto our shares from the beginning, we have seen no return on our investment. It's evident that Microventures failed to safeguard and prioritize the interests of their investors. The lack of transparency and poor decision-making have left us at a significant loss.Given my experience, I cannot recommend Microventures to potential investors. Their mishandling of the Microsalt situation has been a harsh ****** in the pitfalls of mismanaged investments. I advise against entrusting Microventures with any of your money.

Don't look out for investors whatsoever. Microsalt IPO'd in the **, yet US shareholders are left holding onto their private investments. No option to liquidate, no plans at all for a US IPO or conversion of shares. They continue to make money off management fees so you're just locked in forever. They don't actually want your investment to IPO. Horrible!

I am going to submit a review because I have been a customer of MicroVenterus for 9 years and have found them nothing but trustworthy. In fact, I have invested in some of their managed funds as well as individual offerings. They are very open when you invest that your investments are not liquid (you can't get out once you get in) - this is after all investments before companies go public so you might even loose your entire investment if the company/offering you elect to invest in goes bankrupt or out of business, etc. They clearly have you acknowledge this before they take your money and the terms/fees are outlined in every offering listing. I don't think it is MicroVentures fault when a company goes belly up but it does get annoying when a company you invest it doesn't provide updates on their business, etc.. What I have found is that typically means trouble.. at the company you invested in not the MicroVentures business that helped link you to that company's offering. I have had a number of companies go public after investing here and MicroVentures does provide a nice summary of the distribution. They supply K-1s yearly so you can file taxes, etc. It can take years for a company to go public so yes, you are paying a management fee to wait (again, clearly outlined in the offering terms). However, often you will make money because you got in before the general public and usually at a lower cost. Patience is key, tracking and follow-up as well. I have a few other sites I invest in and this one is by far the best at managing expectations, providing *********************** as well as customer service. There are a few times, I have experienced the black-hole where you have no idea what is happening with an investment but that is really a lot less here at MicroVentures then at the other sites.
