      I engaged with ***** (Morales Irrigation) for installing irrigation work at my home. I got a quote for $4100. I paid for 50% ($2050) by check for initial deposit and materials. The materials arrived. The work was originally supposed to start on 11/06. It didn't start. I was then told that the work will start on 11/12. It didn't start. When I called ***** on 11/12 to find out the reason why there was no show, i was told that the work will start on 11/13. There was no-show again. I called ***** for 5 times today (11/13) - Calls were not attended and not returned either. I told ***** that I wanted to have the work done before 11/15. ***** agreed. Now, I feel that I am cheated losing 50% of the money. I would like BBB team to help me in this regard. I wanted to come out of this engagement with *****. Thank you,Rajesh PK

      I spoke with customer on 11/12 and Explain to him why is that work wasn't gonna be completed , i tried to call customer multiple times on 11/14 and no answer , All material has been payed for by him  and work has been marked . I tried to reach out to customer to see If I can start work on 11/15 and still no reply . I been trying to start work but customer does not reply to any of my calls or text.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      1.  There has been delays in starting the project several times since the start and each time there were different excuses.  I patiently accepted the delay 3 times.  After making 5 calls and getting no response on Sat 11/13 (the third time of the work start date), I completely lost trust.

      2.  The expected duration of this project is supposed to be approx 3 days.   What guarantee do I have if I allow the work to start, the work gets done for the 1st day and then no show after that (work is half-way done)?   I am left with no option - I have to re-engage with another person to complete the rest of the job. 

      3. I prefer not to continue further.

      I understan ******** doesnt want to work with me anymore , Deposit was used for material and he has position of material . I will not be  do any refund due to that . I was willing to finish project and a offer a discount due to my absent. I will not be able to pick up material

      I am rejecting this response because:

      a.  This doesn't still guarantee if the work will be started and left half way done.  I will be in much worse situation at that time. 

      b.  i wanted to walk away from this project.   I am willing to keep the materials.   If I can have the remaining amount (the difference amount of the amount paid less the material cost), that will be useful.
