The Christmas Light Guys came to my home to install lights on the house and front trees on 11/8. From the start there were issues: first the crew claimed they were not sent with enough lights to do the work on the estimate, then they claimed that I was not quoted enough lights to properly do the job. I attempted calling the office as well as another number given by the crew for the manager **** (who is actually the owner), but no one answered after multiple attempts.Once **** contacted me he was very rude, condescending and profaneunwilling to accept any responsibility for the situation. He even lied and told me that he was not the owner when I asked for the name and contact information for the owner. If the lights had not been 70% installed at that moment, I would have demanded a refund and asked that they be taken downbut instead I accepted his latest quote to get the job done right and be done with it.Another crew returned on 11/9 and strung the rest of the lights, and then they left. When I arrived home from work, I immediately noticed that none of the electrical connections had been taped or sealed in any way. Their website at page http://thechristmaslightguys.com/austin-christmas-light-services.php specifically states All connections are taped up and sealed. I would not have gone with them had that stipulation not been made in the 1st place. When contacted and asked when theyd be back to complete the work (by taping all connections), **** was again very rude and told me that I didnt know what I was talking about and that they WOULD NOT tape or seal the connections. I texted and emailed copies of the webpage showing that this was part of the service they provide, and he stopped responding to me. I have given 2 separate reply deadlines, and he has ignored both.The entire experience with this company has been horrible. All I am asking right now is that they do what their service description states. I have paid in full and the job is not done.
