We have been in contact with the client. Once the incident occurred he received an email from us. We set up a date to come and fix the floor. See attached email chain. The floor damage is very minor (less than $10 fix). We purchased the materials to fix the floor. On the agreed upon date of 10/31/23, I, the owner of the company, was personally going out to fix the floor. When I was on my way I contacted the client. He answered, I told him I was on the way. He quickly responded in a very aggressive tone, "Come on motherfucker" and hung up on me. As a business owner, after that remark, I don't feel safe going into his apartment to fix the floor. I will not send any of my workers either. I strongly believe that our customer service side was very good until he became aggressive. He is claiming we never called him. I have included the screenshot of the call from 10/31/23. This is the first time that I have had a client get this aggressive over us trying to help.

I am rejecting this response because college hunks never scheduled a time to fix the floor and I never received a call from anyone identifying themselves as college hunks.  In addition I can provide proof my apartment complex is charging me  $375.00 to repair the damage caused by college hunks.  Im asking that I be made whole again.

College Hunks was hired to move our office a few blocks to a new building on the second floor. The movers were advised they could use the elevator and the ramp located at the side of the building. The movers dropped an expensive printer and tracked ink through the building. When we filed a claim, they said that we had denied them access to the elevator and forced them to use the stairs. These statements are both false and irrelevant to how the printer was damaged as it was dropped outside the building. The integrity of their managers is incredibly as they refused to communicate with us honestly or to work with us in recovering our losses.

THIS IS NOT FOR OUR LOCATION. Please stop sending them to the Austin location. We have 25 locations in *****. I assume my location is the only one signed up with the BBB. This is a location in *******.

A crew of four movers and a large moving truck showed up on October 21st a little after 8:00 AM. After showing them all of the items that I wanted them to move, they proceeded to load some of the items, mainly several large glass aquariums, into the truck for the next half hour. Then one of the men, the only one with a *****, approached me and claimed that there were "dead lizards" inside the aquariums. This was a lie as there were no dead lizards in those aquariums. He complained of the sanitary conditions of the work site due to the alleged "dead lizards" and demanded a cash tip of $100 per person (so $400 total) to continue working. Since I did not want to spend more time and money trying to hire other movers, I reluctantly agreed to this demand. I immediately left the house to withdraw the $400 from my bank, and while I was away, the movers decided to abandon the job. When I returned, the bearded man told me that they would require a cash tip of $300 per person to finish the job, otherwise they would unload the items into the driveway instead of my specified destination, and they insisted on keeping the $400 cash that I had gotten for them. I was then forced to pay for the two-hour minimum plus the truck fee (a total of $790.00 aside from the $400 cash tip) or else they would not relinquish my property. I paid with my credit card, and the movers left. So I spent $1190 to just have my stuff dumped onto the driveway. Even if the complaint about the sanitary conditions were valid, I don't see any logical reason to unload the items at the origin address instead of the destination, nor do I see any reason to ask for more money to keep working in supposedly unacceptable conditions. I feel that I was extorted in order to compensate for a much smaller job than I had originally ordered. When the operations manager ********************* visited me on October 14 to do a price quote, he estimated that the job would take five hours. The four men would've actually finished in an hour.
