If you want your possessions destroyed and not be compensated for the damage, then Two men and a truck is just for you. I hired them to move me in February 2022 and the end result was I found enough damage to add up to more than double what I paid them. Mainly two items that would have cost $1600 to replace, and I was being conservative when I looked for close replacements online. I paid them almost $800 to move me and ended up disputing this damage with Two Men and a Truck first, then later my credit card. I sent plenty of photos to their "bosses". I demanded my money back. Don't let them nickel and dime you up to their premium insurance, you will get nothing back. Since I did not get a dime from them with their included free insurance, it is safe to assume buying their premium insurance is a waste of money too. After I disputed my losses to them with emails, photos and phone calls, I was offered a measly $150 in compensation. I called my credit card customer service and started a dispute on the charges with photos and emails all over again. The bank credited my account for the total amount. After 2 months of waiting for a decision, the bank denied me and gave the money back to Two Men and a Truck, the letter essentially worded in legalese to say that it would cost them more than $800 in legal fees to investigate this. So, I called Two men and a truck's representative and told him I'll accept the $150 check. He said he would send it and I would get it within 7 business days. It has been 3 weeks. No check. 3 days ago I got a voicemail from this person asking me for photos of the damage. Again?? I started this with the photos. This was an obvious tactic to try and "lose me in their confusion". No check had ever been sent. In other words, 3 weeks ago he lied to me. Do yourself a favor. Avoid this incompetence, hassle and loss. There are plenty of other movers.

The way our claims process works is similar to insurance companies. Depending upon which option you select is how we determine how we process your claim. We wanted to be fair while investigating your claim. We attempted to provide you with the depreciated value to the tv was damaged. However, due to the age of the television, there was no value in the item. Being that we weren't able to provide you with the cash value of the television, we refer to the standard in the moving industry which is Released Value Protection. in regard to the payment for the damages, we attempted to mail you a check for the damage that occurred. Unfortunately, you disputed the charge to your credit card company. We have a policy in place that won't allow us to pay out the damage claim until the dispute is settled. Upon the settlement of the claim, we mailed you a check for the damage. You should've received the check by now. If you haven't received the check, please reach out to our office and we will issue you a new check. Best regards, ***************************

If I could rate a company zero stars I would! Never EVER use this company. Completely unprofessional, showed up with zero equipment, would NOT fix repairs, broke thousands of dollars worth of furniture (broke peloton screen, 6K marble table, damaged 3 dressers, beds, lost parts to bunk beds, lost parts to large dog kennel, broken grandfather clock, etc.). The company didn't wrap any furniture. They caused thousands of dollars of damage to hardwood floors. Estimate to repair wood floors 6K and only offered $250 to new home owners. After damaging furniture they just left it on front porch and never finished the work. Had to scramble and sell a dining room table and chairs all from Restoration Hardware for pennies of what it was worth. Had to hire another company to move remaining items. Hiring this company was a horrible mistake. Moving is very stressful regardless but hiring a company like this who was extremely dishonest, disorganized and who never finished the job just made this a horrible experience. I also paid for the more expensive insurance because I knew we had expensive furniture. However, I have gotten zero compensation for thousands of dollars worth of damage.
